we get it. you're not happy about the situation. we've all seen the swearing rants. it is what it is. deal with it. Oh and who said I was still on .905?
I dunno, you just seemed to be a bit anti-leak so I guess I assumed. I for one wish i'd stayed on 232 though, given the uncertainty of the situation.

I don't even understand how you figure out how many slots you have. I looked into that Tweakerz thing and I still don't understand it. All I know is, somehow my Bionic inexplicably lost 1,000 points on the Quadrant benchmark over the past couple of days, and a FDR did not clear it up, nor did a reflash of 247. So I NEED to be able to OC this thing, pretty soon it'll be slower than my OG Droid was. It's still clocked at 1.2GHz, so I don't understand the loss of speed. I've obviously got a serious hardware problem developing, but at this point have NO warranty options and cannot afford the insurance deductible let alone a new phone.

My understanding is that if you have the omap 4430 chip set and got the automatic bump to 1.2 ghz when you went to the ICS leak then you've got 5 CPU slots, if not you've got 4.

All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi...

Yeah but people are talking about OMAP4460s and 7 slots. Can't figure out how to tell if I've got a 4430 or a 4460, let alone slots. And I hear if you flash the 7 slot thing to an OMAP4430 by accident, it bricks the phone.

I think you've got to call moto with your s/n to figure out which chip set you've got. I didn't get the bump to 1.2 so I know I've got the 4430. There are still ways to oc it give me a few and I'll pm you a link.

Not even sure there is a point. Back when I was still on GB, I knew how to overclock that. It became unstable before I even hit 1.3GHz. Which is sad, my OG Droid could do slightly better than that.

Correct an u can only tell if u have a omap 4460 by running the serial only the date thing is just to see if ur in the same time frame as the 4460 still doesnt guarantee u have 4460 u can still get a 4430

I'm at 1.25 on speed lite aokp. Was at 1.3 on 247 and seemed solid enough

Well, mine is week 30 of 2011, so I guess there's not even a CHANCE.

If if if...when when when. All I can say , at least for myself is that my phone has never ran better than it does now.
I seriously doubt Moto would scrap 11 ICS versions only to try and cram it on top of GB...it sucks we have to resort to leaks...but at least we have a smooth release. My phone calls out, receives calls and gets on the internet as advertised... I'll be content if .247 stays a leak...just want that magical FXZ !

My thoughts exactly. If Im stuck on 247 for the rest of the life of this phone, Im OK with that, because my phone is now operating the way it was advertised to operate (FINALLY!!!!).

Drop it back to 1GHz, when I clocked mine to 1.404 it ran beautifully for a day, then it wouldn't hold stable so I had to drop back to 1.333GHz also try dropping the voltage a tiny bit, mine is at 1390mv

Mine was fine until it inexplicably slowed down a couple of days ago and nothing I do fixes it. Still clocks itself at 1.2GHz during the initial boot (after a fresh flash) - but it's choppy and slow in operation, and lost 1,000 Quadrant points. It's almost acting like one of the CPU cores is disabled or not working.

It automatically clocked itself to 1.2GHz when I installed the first time, and has worked fine through all 11 leaks. I'm running BONE STOCK .247 right now, not even rooted. This happened overnight to a phone that I did NOTHING to.
