He hasn't been rooted in awhile, and he never checked cheesecake servers. I helped him root to freeze some bloat, but he ended up unrooting because it interfered with one of his apps. This was before the ICS leaks.

Being new to all of this but I am curious as to why the folks that are already on the 247 even care about the ota? Why would that matter if you are already rooted and on the newest version?

once its official then they start working on JB for all their phones including ours. which is why we want ICS to just go OTA
