YEAH baby! My Demo will be here today!

Wow, kinda funny. I'll have to run it again just to be sure. Otherwise I outscored the TB and the atrix. Lol

Sent from my Droid Incredible

LOL, lower is better.....:rofl3::rofl3:

Last time I check 4584 is lower than the 4600 the atrix is on the chart(albeit not by much) and also lower than the 7000 one john just posted.

Fresh boot ran again 4044. +-1.1

This is true, however this is the first we are seeing your number...

@WorldOfJohnboy

If you could, try to find a small magnet, run it on the back of the phone, like the DROID 1, it had 2 additional modes... Alarm clock and car mode. These can be triggered by a small magnet if done the right way... Then we could see if it has a car mode or not...

Good thought! I have the Droid X Car and Home docks, so will see what happens when I fake putting the TBolt in them.

EDIT: Car dock did not work... the magnet on the car dock is a bit harder to access without a Droid X.

Came back in to my desk and realized that I have Bucky Balls. Took some of them and swiped over the back of the Droid X and got it to briefly activate both the Home Dock and Car Docks. Took them and waved them all over the TBolt and nothing activated.

Though not official, it doesn't look like this has a dedicated Docking App, so the chances of getting a car/home dock seem remote. (Have any of the HTC's ever had "official" docks?)

Ah...Interesting... Thanks for conducting the test! I may have to go with the DROID X, or the Bionic. The car mode is big for me....

EDIT: Is there a car mode application?

No Docking application. Honestly, the Droid X's car and home docking apps really lag out the phone whe you first put the phone in the dock, but if you deparately need them, Motorola has historically provided official docks with the app.

I checked the Market and there are a couple of Apps that peaked my interest: Car Home Beta and Car Dock Home v3.

The Car Home Beta is more like the Motorola Car Dock, but cooler... has tons of customizable buttons on it.

Car Dock Home is a bit different, but allows you to put up app shortcuts, as well as widgets (and they have a few pre-designed 'common' car dock shortcuts as well).

Provided you get a nice phone holster, you could just simply use one of those two apps with the TBolt and not have to go to a Moto Droid :D

Dude! Nature finds a way... lol Nice work there... I'm going to take a look see at those apps, and see if that works for me... AA++

EDIT: Car Dock Home v3, Directly calls phone numbers and takes pictures, and changes audio settings....

Cm7 is gingerbread.

I think that has a lot to do with it. Still, that is impressive.

WorldOfJohnboy, thanks for doing that for me.

Now, I just realized that I posted the link for test build 0.9.1 (new), and the numbers for the graph are from test build 0.9 (old), which people can run here: SunSpider JavaScript Benchmark (In Progress...)

Using the old test with stock 600MHz kernel on my Gingerbread D1 I scored: 15133

Using the old test with OC'd 1000MHz kernel on my Gingerbread D1 I scored: 11313 (a second test was 11405).

Trying the new test again, I scored: 7036. Very telling.

You guys don't have to try with the old test, but I do believe all of our scores would be higher (worse). Mine almost doubled. The worse numbers from old test 0.9 is a more accurate comparison for the chart I posted earlier. In the end one benchmark doesn't mean a whole lot, but it's better to have accurate info.

johnboy google google car home .apk, first link goes to droid-life that may be nice one for you. Also are we allowed to ask about H-Boot from the thunderbolt?

Hey, like all the others before me here, thanks for helping us keep our sanity. On the car dock thing, in your app drawer, is there one called Car Panel? I know it's not an app that opens automatically when you place it in a dock (you have to select it), but that is there correct?
