YEAH baby! My Demo will be here today!

I have to say if it wasn't for Johnboy's thread here I would be walking away from the ThunderBolt completely. Despite the recent news the mere fact that phones are being used in real world conditions by corporate customers makes me think the TB is ready, but other issues remain (not just the network either).

Verizon would not risk real user experiences calling into question the devices performance. I for one am very happy to wait, and want to say thank you very much to Johnboy for keeping this thread moving in the right direction of real world use experience.

Hey, like all the others before me here, thanks for helping us keep our sanity. On the car dock thing, in your app drawer, is there one called Car Panel? I know it's not an app that opens automatically when you place it in a dock (you have to select it), but that is there correct?

App Drawer>All Apps: No "Car Panel."

Every review I've read has Bionic as a solid winner against TB.

Thanks for sharing your views

I haven't tried the Bionic, but having owned a Droid X since it came out in the summer of '10, I will not be purchasing a Motorola Android phone again. Motoblur ruins what could be fantastic phones and Motorola locked their bootloader. BUT, I do understand that everyone has their own opinions and preferences, so I am sure that the Bionic is very good and there are people that will buy it... I just won't be one of those people.

Anything feeling different, better, worse after several days of use?

Find any new things of interest?

I guess I wish that htcsense.com would work, but when I try to log in from my phone as the instructions tell me to, it just sits there doing nothing.

I did see in a video review that you can reorder your home screens. To do so, hit the Home button twice, then you can do a long press on any screen to move it to a new position.

A new annoying habit I have adopted is "flicking" the kickstand (pulling it out and then letting go of it so it "clicks" against the back of the phone). My wife is thrilled. ;)

Thanks for the reply, just one more if ya don't mind. On video calling, have you tried an app called Tango for the video calling? From what I've read it works with almost anything. It wouldn't be integrated (no video calls from the contacts or dialer screen) but it would show that it can do video calling.

I think the only problem with that is they advertised it with Skype capabilities from launch, so if it doesn't have it they'd be guilty of false advertising. I personally don't care if it's not there at launch, but needs an update soon after launch would be fine with me.

That is not true to my knowledge. They announced at CES the Thunderbolt and Skype video idependently, but never said blatantly "the Thunderbolt will have video Skype at launch." They did show a slide on the big screen of the TBolt using Skype, but never said anything about shipping with Skype video.

Maybe not, but I thought someone at the Thunderbolt release date thread(s) posted a pic at least from Best Buy saying it would launch with Skype. Also I thought the reps at CES said the same thing. The Best Buy manager I know said the same thing, but I could be wrong. I couldn't care less if it's not there at launch, but comes with it in an update afterwards.
