z4Root - One Step Rooting for Many Android Devices!!

So basically I have to re-root my Droid 1 to re-enable my root access?

I read that entire how-to by Motocache1, is that .sbf file ok to use? Even with the new 2.2.1 currently on the phone?

So mad z4root won't work

I'm so mad at myself for updating to the new 2.2.1 .......... I should have known better

I just got tired of my Cyanogen Mod 6.1-RC4 cause it would never update applications and would always force close, that's the only reason I went back to stock root

I'd be a disgrace to my green tights if I suggested a method that didn't work.

Whatever you do, DO NOT unplug or allow to become unplugged the USB cable while flashing. Also, if there's a storm in your area or anything that might cause the power to fluctuate or go out do not flash SBF.

Thanks, I've done a manual root before, so I'm very familiar with the process.

Just upset that z4root was disabled on the Droid 1 and yet it still works on the Droid X

I learned my lesson, no more OTA updates for me :icon_evil:
