Eris can already get 2.1. There is thread somewhere on here for it.

Ya I know that but if something goes wrong or something is messed up she can't go back to stock atleast last time I checked.

If you are running widgets on the stock launcher and using a different one such as Helix or Home ++ or GDE.... do the widgets continue to run on the stock launcher while you're using an alternative?

Should you delete the widgets on the stock launcher to speed up your Droid if you use Helix?

Does the light stay on in your fridge when you close the door? Of course not! I'm kidding, I am not sure if they still run but I would imagine they take up some resources. I clear them out just to be safe, not like I switch between different homes. Helix rocks.

I believe I figured it out - for the first time beautiful widgets is taking up the most battery ever. I have it on the stock launcher and Helix. They both are running. So the stuff you have running on stock ALWAYS runs and the stuff you have on a third party launcher only runs when it's active.
