5.5.5.893 FXZ .901/.902 compatible and.902 update

So you just basically took those from the 5.5.893 build? I was going to take a look at what is different in yours but a little thrown aback by the required signup at 4share...

no i had to take both the .886 FXZ an .893 FXZ an replace the files above with the ones provide in the update cuz every time u update the above files a re modified an if the FXZ files dont match the modified files from the update the Flash will fail. so pretty much every time u update u need an new FXZ cuz apparently moto doesnt think it would be smart to make a universal FXZ file thus the reason why i am running into a wall with the .886 sock version an i didnt think u had to sign up but if u do u get 15 GB of upload space 3 times the amount of drop box

no the FXZ is not the same as the one released a while back it is a modified FXZ an it is compatible with the following builds .893/.901/.902 and the .886 FXZ provided in my thread not the out of the box stock .886 since the files dont match but very few people still have .886 version if any at all

Ok, also do you know if we can use this from stock .902 back to .893? For instance, say im on stock .902 and want to downgrade to .893 to re root...can i do that with this?

i have now posted a .902 exploit to root in the op this thread has now become a one stop shop for fixing bionics an rooting not just downgrading to reroot an yes any of my FXZ are compatible with .902

Can anyone tell what i can flash to get pass the preflash failure..was on. 901 ...wanted to go with the 902...soft bricked...try to recover with the rel3ased v2.1...cause of the preflash failure it just kept on boot looping.....can anyone give me a link to get the 886. Fxz ?...tried flashing the 893..preflash faliure..

yes it is completely different u try to flash this with any update after .893 u will fail 4 of the flash steps in RSD

please read the OP any roll back script is incompatible with my .893 FXZ u must use the .886 if that doesnt work message me back cuz u may need a new CDT file also use the CDT fix if u are in ap flash boot failure

yes they do have the official OTA files not leaked ones the last thing i want to do is put everyone off the upgrade path let alone myself lmao cuz i have used these files to save my bacon a couple of times when flashing roms improperly or applying scripts improperly

I just had to ask since I didn't download these files and had thought that you were merely linking to files that already existed, like the FixCDT zip, but when you stated that you had 'modified' the VRZ_XT875_5.5.893.XT875.Verizon.en.US_CFC_01.xml.zip file I just wanted to know what exactly, other than adding the NEW in front of the name...:happy3:

K, gotcha, you swapped out the .886 files with the .893 files...

All the files are identical from your NEWVRZ to the VRZ I linked...down to the MD5s...??
