I downloaded this via Rom manager, wiped and installed it. My phone doesnt get past the boot animation screen...what gives?!?

Boot into recovery, wipe data a couple more times then go back and install. Let me know if that works

that worked..but now after i do the setup within 1 minute the phone locks up completely and wont respond. i have to pull the battery and restart. I tried both chevys 1.o low volt & p3 800mhz kernel.

I would try just leaving your phone sit for 30 min after it boots up. I know after installing froyo rom, within the first 30 min to 45 min it runs verrry slow due to the phone syncing. Maybe with you operating it while it's trying to sync everything is causing it to freeze up. Also, which way did you install this rom? Rom manager or did you put it on your sdcard?

I'm coming from petes and using p3s kernal. My problem with petes was that nomatter what kernal once the phone hit 40% battery it went to 5% in 3 mins.

What is kscripts.apk? I see the file download page, but what is it? Also the GUI interface for scripts link from an earlier post just takes you to the same page you are looking at??

Best advice from my experience...plug it in and let it boot up and sit for 30 minutes...I actually was having problems last night w/ v.2 of Pete's ROM locking up on me after I tried a couple of kernels and then nandroided back to the stock kernel - I finally just rebooted and set it on my dock and went to sleep. Woke up this AM and all was fine.

Got it! Flashed recovery a couple times and now it works.

Not a good feeling to be without recovery.

So it just took you several times trying to boot into recovery until it worked? I was going to flash this rom but hearing your story kind of scared me away from it lol. I don't want to be without recovery, but I just want to hear how you got it back.

What i did was choose "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery" a couple times from within ROM Manager. Only takes a few seconds each time to do so, then from there I was fine.

Seeing that I am the only person to have had this issue, I would let this scare you away from a fantastic ROM. I would put more blame on ROM Manager than Jrummy and this ROM.

So even tho I had the issue of not being able to boot to recovery, my phone was working in every other way just fine...and not just working, but working GREAT.

I say flash away and enjoy!

Can anyone explain how to add the goodies working? I'm trying to get a LWP working and having issues. I installed it as a update.zip and it seemed to go fine. I then go to emulator and the command takes. However the LWP is no where to be found.

So I took the plunge and installed this rom, and wow so far amazing. But when I go to install a app from the market, it says I don't have enough room/storage. Whats wrong?
