.901 Compatible KIN3XT v1.0 and P3's one click upgrade

I seeing fastboot partitions needed while the script waited for my phone to boot into fastboot. When it did it just continued.

Did it say right above that, "error: device not found"?

Also, did it start right up as soon as you hit enter or any other key?

At the time I wasn't able to check debugging so i did get that error message. I knew it was only to push the updates though so I just continued after manually booting in fastboot and it restored everything still.

To my knowledge Odin is for Samsung devices only. If you are getting fasboot partitions needed from the script on the computer screen then at that point you need to manually boot into fastboot by pressing volume down and power simultaneously on your phone while leaving it plugged into the computer. Once fastboot is booted press any key on your computer to run the rest of the scripts process.

That makes sense, as my last device was a Samsung Fascinate. Thanks for the correction! :)

You'll have to redo the script if you made it to 901 without root. Be sure you run the runmebbb.bat instead of the original. Just before updating to 901 the second time boot up after the 893 update and confirm the forever root was successful.

I think my problem was the drivers.

Ahhh poop. Okay so now when I tried to apply the updates, it says it aborted....and something about sideload blah blah. Nooow what do I have to do?? And it seems that I have no data now :/

A few pages back, I found the radio zip. I read that it was for people who tried using the released tool with the pathsaver. But ima see if it will still work considering I dont have data now.

But i will check out your thread! Thanks dood! :)

My bad, I should have checked your thread. Just noticed that you had that exact link. Well I have data back now. Now to run the pathsaver once again.

Welcome abord my boat lol

use p3's first ota restore to get 99% back to. 893 then his fix.bat file (also on his page 1 of his ota restore page) then. root then forever root then reboot into stock recovery and instal 901.. you should have the 901 radio and stock os and still be rooted. just dont install any roms that have not been tweaked to be 901 happy or u must start over.... p.s. a factory reset is nice to do prior to all of it. and if you install recovery based items do it in seperate sessions. or get looped and start over

Well I wish I knew that a bit earlier. But I though you couldn't use the p3's ota restore after using the pathsaver. Right now Im downloading the CG fix thing in order to be able to flash the updates.
