.901 Compatible KIN3XT v1.0 and P3's one click upgrade

Okay, so I ended up dowloading a bunch of useless Zips that didnt have the files or didnt have a certain file I needed. I finally am like a RSD pro lol.

Honestly, all I really had to do is download RSD 5.6 and then download the mirror(the regular Flashme.zip wasn't working) and uncompress and flash the targarfwofi (i forgot already and dont care) file and wammy

After seeing all the problems Sadhiro is having, pray tell me what does 901 do for me that 893 doesn't, or, why should I go to the hassle of installing 901???

Most of my problems were fixed with 893 but I still had the headphone whine problem. 901 fixed my remaining issues.

what exactly are you on now do ya no lol
Well Im pretty sure I used RSD to get back to stock 886. Right now, Im using the path saver and its installing the updates. It seems to be working really good so far since when I install the updates, they take a good couple of minutes apposed to the last time when I tried it and it finished and failed in like 2 minutes or less

So I was curious, Do the add on's and themes still work with the .901?

yes. The system files are still the same and framework hasn't been touched. All I did was swap the system/lib files to make it compatible with the .901 radio.

I was just curious, has anyone used any of the wireless tether stuff? I haven't really heard of people being caught doing it and getting their contract terminated.

Personally, I have had good luck with Android Wireless Tether, however, I only used it for tethering my Asus Transformer when I was not at home and nothing else.

Just recently, the same guy who developed Clockwork Recovery Mod, released a different USB tether that he claims cannot be tracked by the carriers. You can read more and download the APK file here:

Followed the steps (uninstalled safety strap and bootstrap to be on stock bootloader & was on stock .875 from one click restore bricked droid) as outlined and everything installed fine. Be patient and let the phone due all the necessary reboots! Installed safety strap & Eclipse 2.0 with the .901 patch in safe mode and everything is working great! The phone does take longer to boot up now, which must be the new kernel, so give it a little time before you panic!!!! Thanks for the thread and the continual GREAT support!!!!:biggrin:
