Us custom rom users are looking exactly for the "blocked" response. We don't want the "official" OTAdancedroid

I'll just idly wonder if they fixed animated gifs (or pngs?), which I've never seen working on my droid. That'd be a nice (albeit not very important) fix. Certainly if you're talking smileys that would be animated gifs.

Know what ya mean, animated avatars currently show up as gray squares in Tapatalk; thought it was a Tapatalk issue but if it's OS related and it works after update, cool.

Do a battery pull. Should fix the sluggishness. Hopefully will help with battery life as well. Also, task killers don't seem to play nice with 2.2. There were some reports the facebook widget was causing a lot of drain as well.
Experiment. I know from reading about the "OTA" everyone was installing last week, it takes time to get everything updated. The phone can run sluggish for upto an hour and the battery could drain cause the phone is being pushed by the installer to get things done. Again, this is all from the leaked OTA. I don't know much about this one. But have you tried now to charge the battery and see if it still dies fast?
Also, my battery life had gotten down to around 3 hours. I decided to just "redo" it. So I wiped the phone and my battery now lasts over a day. Which is good for how much I use it.
Not saying any of this will work or to even try it. I am just simply stating possibilites and things I did. It should be noted I am not running stock.
I checked the adobe flash mobile site and it says I need flash installed but I see the dancing banana and Droid phone just dancing away on my Droid.:icon_ banana:
My guess would be if you have it installed and can see video then it works. THe sluggishness on the trailers you are watching is probably due to the speed you are running at. Meaning, are you at full go 3g? Are you o wifi? etc..
