So, I've seen discussions from time to time about it but couldn't find any through searching. Are there benefits for going back to stock and getting the actual 2.1 update? And can you not root if you have 2.1 until people reconfigure it for 2.1?

Sounds like 3 screens still, I hope there is an option for 5. With all the new google widgets taking up a lot of screen space, it seems like 5 would be required for 2.1 and beyond.

I don't know what you guys do with all that screen. I barely use 1 1/2 screens.

Do you use widgets? My left screen has music widget and 12 icons, middle calendar widget and 8 icons, right "power" widget and 8 icons. Pretty full! I would like the weather/news widget but there isn't a pretty place to put it

Saw that Apple stocks soared today , iPhone coming to VZW , if so goodbye Moto hello iPhone .

That's the beauty of the Droid. Yeah, I use widgets I don't use the power widgets because I use beautiful widgets versions of the same thing.

Yeah, because on the iPhone if you want a major update, you need to buy a new phone. There's a real selling point. :icon_rolleyes:
