Android 2.1 Update Rolls Out For Motorola Droid!

The most shocking thing about all these threads around various forums is how many people think there are only 30 days in this month.

It's been a long month for me I want it over with already.:beer2:

I'll help you feel better. I'm sitting in Iraq, on night shift reading all this. My Droid, which I've never even SEEN is sitting in TX, waiting for it's update, and I won't get to play with it until the end of June. So I have to live vicariously through you guys. BTW, I get home on June 41st.....oh wait...uh

I'm sure they fixed a lot of bugs and that a lot of small improvements in 2.1 were not listed or the list would be too long. Anybody else think this...? They never seem to list every little thing they change...

Yes, only 3 screens. I would be happy with 4. I hope Home ++ will still work.

on the bright side of things, at least i won't have to wait for digitalblasphemy to release all new resolutions for my wallpaper collection on the droid, cause it ain't changing !! ... <sob>

From what I've seen the total wallpaper size doesn't often change, just the amount that it moves when you swipe between screens. So, with more screens, it'd move a bit less is all. Not saying that is how it'd work for sure, but that's what I've seen with other versions of the 2.1 launchers that have more screens.

just talked to a verizon sales person today at park city mall, pa...he confirmed the update. I just had to hear it in person to believe it...its about damn time lol

I am actually using a Droid on PagePlus which is a prepaid service on Verizon's network will I have the opportunity to update OTA as well?
