It also happens to be the begining of Q2. At some point I read that VZW had announced 2.1 would be out Q-1, so I think the April Fools is just coincidence.
Now THERE'S a better pic. All I wanted to see was the Verizon logo at the bottom of the phone.
Guy confirmed that there is definitely only 3 SCREENS. Not good VZW.

I would think you'd want a good cross-section of serials for the test group, though... Make sure that any minor differences in hardware over the months or application combos don't trip anyone up.
After that, sequentially would make sense (although since I bought mine in late February, it sucks for me!).
That make me kind of sad in pants. stupid VZW is right...

They stated that at 12:00 1,000 people would get the update
then @ 11:59 PM another 9,000 will get the update.
They will then wait 24 hours to make sure everything it ok,
and push the update out to 200,000 people at a time starting on April 1st if everything works fine.
Nope, way before phones were rooted people took screen shots.
