Probably not even worth updating until a custom rom is built off that Base.
We have everything we need with rooted droids, I fail to understand why people who are rooted are so concerned with a real 2.1

Well, it could be because they want flash. Or perhaps they prefer not voiding their warranty.

Something new and different I guess. Thing is that I would unroot to give it a whirl but am wary because VZW/Moto may have fixed the hole that let us root to begin with in this update. So until it is confirmed that it can be re-rooted I won't go near it. Also, knowing how the guys do things (Koush, Pete, etc...) I figure it'll be a week or so before there are new custom ROMs with whatever goodies (if any) ESE81 has to offer up and ready to go. So it's a good time to be a Droid owner stock or rooted.

they posted it earlier when you get notification you will have it on SD card and to copy update to desktop or whatever something like that..
