Could someone walk me through the install like I was a 2nd grader who just found his dad's phone?

I've downloaded the file but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to the sd card.

Get your droid on usb to your computer. Mount using the option to connect. If you haven't done this before, let us know nad we'll give more details on that.

Once mounted you can open the folder to see files on the SD card; THIS is the root of your SD card. Copy the update.zip file there.

Use safely remove hardware to unmount the droid, and detach cable.

now you can boot to recovery and push your update.

How do you move files to the root using astro?

maneuver in astro so that you see /sdcard at the top, you are now at the root level of the SD card, then paste the file.

By the way, that is also the default location when you open astro ...

As a person who used Smoked glass 6.x, I kind of regret updating to official 2.1. It is not as fast and smooth as SG. I'll wait for SG for 2.1. Just FYI.

I've downloaded it and can see it in astro. I just have to move it from the download file to the root.

Why can't we have at least 5 screens default? Widgets are a major part of this phone, yet we only get 3 screens worth of real estate for them?

Didn't the Milestone get up to 7 (or 9?!) screens?

Root problem!

So I am rooted and the OTA update keeps popping up on my phone telling me to install.Is there anyway I can stop the pop up? the only thing I can do is hit "install later" but then it comes back in like 5 minutes. So what can I do? It's annoying
