are you guys familiar with the phrase, "agree to disagree"?? :rofl3:
btw the iphone 4 has a front facing camera doesn't it? I'm pretty sure no other iphone iteration has that. i'm also pretty sure that a camera is considered hardware. so that sounds like a hardware revision. pretty sure about that.
Slightly off topic but I'll throw this past you. Would you like to bet that the iPad 2 will be the EXACT same hardware as the iPhone 4 sans 10" retina display. Come on. I know you want to
This is what Apple does. If you can't see that then you are blind to the truth. They recycle hardware every two to three years.

call me crazy but i HIGHLY doubt Verizon reps are going to push droids over iphones by using LTE as a selling point.
sure.... your crazy..... I've personally been installing their LTE network for the last year and a half.......
I doubt VZW is spending the MILLIONS of dollars that they are on the LTE technology just to let it fall of the needed list....lol.... seriously dude??:icon_eek:
i'll let you go back and read what i said, and then we'll talk. I'll wait while you do that...
More and more consumers are becoming educated. There is this thing called the internet and information and news is spread instantly to eager readers. It's not like it used to be. More and more people are making informed decisions whether through their own research or by asking those "in the know" prior to making any purchase.

Thanks for LETTING me read....... I already read your posts.... you have not made it clear yet what your actually trying to argue... all I've read is you making careless posts on what VZW will do and what they won't do...
In the post I quoted you on you said that they won't push LTE......
then later say that big red will realize their huge mistake with spending millions on LTE.
then later your saying that it will eventually be pushed after the iphone....
well......who said the iphone is coming before LTE????????????
good-grief, trying to keep up with your view point is like a high-school debate session....<----- ie; debate just to debate.
sorry....unsubscribed

Unless they're buying an iPhone, right? Then it's just them buying into the Apple fad? And it's completely inconceivable that people are buying Android for the fact that it's the "anti-Apple" platform?

what I said that they would try to get the most sales as they could out of the iphone before trying to push LTE for which there will only be mifi and usb aircards available for in the beginning anyway and no phones till mid-2011 (and yes, that's provided that the iphone comes out in early 2011). can i be wrong about that? ABSOLUTELY. I can be dead wrong. but read my posts before you try to comment on them and completely misunderstand what i'm saying.

lol.... thanks for telling me what I have and have not read once again....
untill now, you have not actually CLEARLY stated what you in fact are talking or arguing towards....lol, you have in too many posts to bother quoting said the iphone before LTE.....
I'm not even arguing anything with you... and after reading through all of your posts the first time, I agreed with most of what you said. What I didn't agree with was the LTE being pushed to the back burner mentality, and now your indecisivness towards the comments on LTE.
later man...you can stop trying to make an enemy any time chief

not trying to make an enemy, just don't like being misquoted or misconstrued. which is what you're doing.
i've argued 2 main points in this thread:
[1] consumers don't care about software and what's really going on in an OS -- if they did, commercials wouldn't be catchy tunes with people dancing around in a white room like morons (iphone commercials), or some mysterious phone playing blockbuster movies and shooting lasers out (android commercials). marketing is what sells phones, not whether it's open source or not, or whether or not someone has a one year development cycle or a 2 week cycle. I've never wavered from that. The best way to prove me wrong, would be to show me where I said consumers do care about such things. I've never said it, because that's not what I believe.
[2] if (if...not when...if) the iphone comes out before LTE, the iphone is going to get pushed more until LTE capable devices start being available. I've not wavered from that either. Know how you can prove me wrong? Show me where I said "the Iphone is coming out before LTE, and I know it!!" or show me where I said "Verizon is going to abandon LTE advertising and marketing, because they finally got the iPhone!!!!!"...never said it, never will cuz that would be dumb. There is no indecisiveness on my part. I still believe that if (if...not when...if) the iPhone comes out in early 2011, its going to get a push before LTE does. If (if..not when..if) LTE comes out first, then naturally Verizon is going to push that. They're not going to wait around till 2040 till they finally get an iphone to start marketing LTE. You keep saying I'm backtracking or contradicting myself and I'm not. That's what I said, that's what I'm still saying and that's what I'm going to say until you prove me wrong (which you can't because I never said otherwise) or Verizon proves me wrong (which they absolutely can). If (if...not when...if) the iPhone comes out before LTE, and Verizon still advertises LTE instead of trying to sell the iPhone then I will be proven wrong.
If you want to make an enemy because you didn't understand what I meant, that's fine. And I appreciate you agreeing with me on my points. But don't tell me what I said or didn't say when the proof is all right here in this thread. Show me where I said LTE marketing would be abandoned completly, or show me where I wavered in saying the iPhone would be marketed first if it comes out first. Or show me where I said most consumers care about hardware/software and not marketing/advertising.
You won't be able to show me that, cuz it was never said.
czerdrill said:they will let the world know about LTE after the iPhone hooplah dies down. Not during. It would be completely counterproductive to their end goal which is high sale numbers (of their service...i understand that...you don't have to keep telling me that). To push two wholly different products simultaneously as big draws would make no sense. and don't tell me that the iphone (and the service that comes with it) wont be a big draw.
from a business perspective it makes zero sense to finally get the iphone and then tell people about LTE with the same gusto. It becomes watered down when you do that. anyone would see that.
if someone advertises something as amazing (which they will when they get the iphone), and you go into the store and once there they start telling you about how amazing something else is, you're doing it wrong. it makes ZERO sense to do something like that.
There are no "new" buyers who havent been swept up in the iPhone craze. Please don't tell me that Timmy is going to come in having never heard of the iPhone or the hooplah surrounding it. The iPhone sells cuz of hype and marketing. everyone and their mother and their dog knows what an iphone is. No new customer is going to walk in bewildered and say "iPhone?? what's that?? haven't heard much about it"
Trust me, the ENTIRE world is going to know how fast LTE is. But it's not going to know two days after Verizon gets the iPhone.

Let me dumb it down a bit for ya.....

I havn't disagreed on your views or anything.....
all I have been saying is that you were fast to say that the iphone is coming to verizon before LTE. And you were not very clear or bashfull in saying it till now with all your (if...not when....if) crap.
punk'd...:rofl3:.... are you famous or something?
