Battery drains fast!

I'm not sure but my battery is lasting very well. At home using wifi always. Auto brightness, synching only yahoo and Gmail, nfc off, only offline music from the internal memory only. I'm getting good 14-16 hours on single charge. Last night I had 12+ hours on wifi mode and I got 22 hours still 18% left on it. About 2-3 hours of screen time. I'm not rooted or unlocked yet. See my snapshots. Its from single battery not extended though. I'm very pleased.

I would like a dev to look into this as well. I use voice calls a lot at work and have calculated a 12-13% loss per one hour of a Bluetooth phone call. This is with location, wifi, data,GPS and nfc all off. For comparison my coworkers Razr has a loss of roughly 8%. My phone has no issues sleeping either as I only lose 6% battery(data on)while I sleep.

I have turned off 4G ever since the outage and currently got around a day out of the extended battery. This is with minimal use.

I am just a moderate user though. I do a few phone calls, text a lot, check Facebook randomly throughout the day as well as looking things up on the net. Check these forums, a few sports sites, and play a few video games here and there. I have 4g on through the day and evening, only turn it to 3g when I am sleeping.

Your phone is running great then. For me it runs weird there's days where it drains fast and days where it goes forever.

It also takes forever to charge. The other day it actually lost 1% while I was using it and it was charging.

Were you using the stock charger? There's only 2 possibilities;

1) You were not using a full power charger (i.e. using a USB port or car charger or a cheap Chinese charger)
2) There's something wrong with your phone

It's be pretty easy for you to eliminate the first issue, so if I were you I'd take the phone in if it's not the charger.

Some days mine is decent, others its horrible. When I'm at work for ten hours, phone is in and out of service all day (terrible signal out on the floor)... have juice defender running and it seemed to make a difference..

I think its my phone or the battery in it possibly. I use the charger they gave me, wall charger. Takes a long time to charge. Another thing I hate is when I'm low and I charge it up to 60% or whatever then I need to leave my house, It goes from 60 to 50 in less than half hour without any use.

Its just a charger issue its not my outlet cause I used to charge my thunderbolt there as well and that phone used to charge full in an hour. This phone takes 3 hours.

I'd take both the phone and charger in to get looked at. That's an issue you shouldn't have to deal with, something is wrong.

My first charge took about 3 hours to fully charge. Now it probably only takes an hour or just a slight bit longer.

Well I have consitantly received 8 to 10 hours since I got this phone. I decided to try desperate measures and changed two things at once. Well let me tell you I am a happy camper. I installed the free version of juice defender and I bought the app "setCPU". I have doubled my battery life. I will be doing some tests shortly to determine which app is contributing the most.

Battery life seems to vary based on signal. In my apartment where I seem to get decent cell reception I can let it sit on standby and the battery life seems ok(stand by for like 3-4 hours and batt went from 70% to 65%. This morning back to work, I am getting no signal in my cube(I used to get some on OG) and I think thats killing the battery. Went into work fully charged on the extended batt and by 11am I am at 65%, no call, and running on setcpu's screen-off profile...

Now I'm convinced that the battery life is tied to the network connection. This is amazing! My screen isn't even on the dimmest setting. Amazing.

Update: now I'm at 31% 11hr 10min!!!

I actually get better battery life on my Nexus than my Droid 2. The ROM and kernel combo with undervolt does the trick, last about 12 hours from full charge with the same usage then the Droid 2 with 8 hours...
