Battery life on CM7. Let's hear it...

I get about 7 hours per charge, but I use my phone a ton. Still, wish I could get 12 hours and use only 60% battery like on Apex, but I can never go back...

Seriously if you're not like me (ocd) and you can live without your email going off the sec you get a new one, use Juice Defender!! The best thing I ever did on CM7. I just flashed back to a .596 based rom for a few day (Shiju rom) just to see if battery is REALLY that much better on GB. I don't remember it being that good but I could be wrong.

Are you using Juice Defender Ultimate?

I just installed Juice Defender Ultimate, it is greatly improving my batter life. 6hours and 5 mins and im sitting at 51% battery. Installed JD with 60% left and at 4 hours. So its doing a very good job.

I right I've never be able to go back, but eventually the battery life got to me. I like to be able to actually use my phone for an entire day and not have it die by 5 pm

The battery life definitely hasn't improved since 36. Since 5am this morning i had to swap batteries 1 time, and right now its down to 50% on the second battery.

I just might go back to liberty tomorrow.

I guess I'm one of the few that gets pretty good battery. I'm constantly texting and checking multiple news apps at least twice a day and still get about 16 hours on a full charge. I've found that the battery life gets better after letting each nightly settle for a few days. I'm using juice defender ultimate, v6 on multitask settings, imoseyon tweaks, and android booster. The only rom I've ever had better battery on was zombiestomped and I was getting at least a day on a full charge

It's kinda vague. It's hard to tell how much people really use their phones in relation to battery life. Even saying "normal" use or "light" use doesn't tell me much. I got 9 hours yesterday and I used it a tad less i usually do (whatever a tad means haha)

All I know is, I am always on my phone. Lately, I have been downloading a new ROM every couple days atleast.

Battery life seems to be terrible for me no matter what ROM I'm using. With the stock ROM, Motoblur was the primary culprit, whether I was using the phone or not. I suppose that being a heavy user doesn't help much either, althought I've always wondered what qualifies as "light," "moderate," and "heavy." I think it's safe to say when you do as much nonstop social networking, texting, internet surfing, music listening, youtube video watching, xda and droid Forums surfing, ROM flashing, and yes, phone talking as I do, it can probably be considered heavy. Anyway, the one time recently that I forgot my charger, my battery went from full to dead in less than 4 hours.

Haha or that is what the Droid Incredible 2 is for. I am 3 days out of the same usage as one day with my X.

That said, I miss my X and will likely have a Bionic soon anyway. I like both devices. The X is like a 60s Muscle Car. Bold, loud, sharp and mean. The dinc2 is more like a BMW or Benz. Sleek, fast and handles well but just is missing some of that raw factor that makes the X cool and fun. CM7 FTW.
