You're not a "tard". You'll be on an updated kernel and baseband which will improve your phones signal, speed and battery life. Cm7 on gb runs just as stable as froyo. I personally love it and highly recommend it. Your best bet tho is to try it for yourself and see. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I'm not sure what he meant by cw issue but I can tell you that after flashing rev's 8/28 (was on .596 LGB.9 and sbf'd to froyo to accept the TBH pre-root) I got stuck on the boot logo every time I tried to get into cwr and had to pull the battery. Everything else ran just fine. I had to sbf again but luckily the .602 file was released along with the GB one click. All good now on the 9/3 release from rootzwiki. This was on my DX but I flashed my girlfriend's D2 with rev's 8/30 at the same time and have had zero issues.

I've seen you all over these forums Idopa... but I still can't figure out if you're working with an DX or a D2... or both??

I couldn't boot into recovery using rom manger or cm reboot I would get stuck at the m logo.

so im on miui and want to go back to cm. I want to flash cm4dx w/ the ginger bread kernal, and was wondering how my upgrade path would go. Do i sbf, then root, then flash .602, then flash gb kernal? And if i had a backup for miui, can i just sbf and root then flash to go back to miui? Thanks

From where you are the most direct route would be to use the recent SBF for .602, use the D3 One Click method to root, and then flash CM4DX-GB.

And to restore your MIUI backup you could do as you said and SBF (to froyo), then root, followed by either flashing MIUI or restoring the backup you said you have.

CVPCS was working on it but tweeted the other day that he was ill and would take longer than expected. Also the system got hacked last week and that also stopped nightlies.
