Car Talk

Corvette has always been one of my favorites too. I had an '81 & a '96.
The C3 style (specifically 80-82) was always my favorite. Driving that car with its long nose was a trip, but I loved it. The C4 came out and I hated the new styling. Then I drove one and fell in love again. Still love the old C3s but damn, they've really stepped up their game with the new model. Without a doubt, my new favorite. (Hopefully I'll get to drive one someday....i sure as heck can't afford one.....yet!) [emoji2]

I've always loved the look of the Vette, but they never fit me well compared to the 911, I'd still choose a nice Porsche over the Vette, but that's simply what I feel better driving.

Gotta love the sound and power, but sometimes the economy of it overrules.
I'm certainly not an environmentalist, but mpg in the 40's or higher is sweeter than the rumble of my American made V8.
My car is in no way environmentally friendly. I get high 30s if I'm lucky and I have to buy premium... But man does this thing fly!

So my wife told me what she would like her new car to be:

5.0L/467 BHP

Sure. That's what she needs.

I like your wife's taste! I stay away from car girls. I don't want to support their habits too!

And I heard wives and girlfriends are really expensive. Besides I like half of my stuff, I don't want to give it away!!

No way Jose. When you find the right one your story will change.

That Lexus RC F will be a huge upgrade from her Optima. She jests about it, but one day I will have it sitting out in the driveway for her. I just have to set it up on a day that I have to swap cars with her to do an 'oil change'.

At the same time I had these

Then divorce, only the '93 Mustang and 2004 Lightning survived. The Stang is only my show car now, with a blown and stroked 331, pushing 486rwhp @ a safe 14lbs of boost. The Lightning is my daily driver, with a 4lb pulley, CAI and tune it's pushing 394rwhp on 93 pump gas tune.

Due to a pricey Valentine's wknd, I currently don't have a quarter of a mil in my checking account....I may have to liquidate a few assets.
