Alot of the slow downloading is because Koush's mirrors are getting hammered badly.. it was never this slow

I think it should be a bit better now. I've done 40gb bandwidth in ~18hrs for 600 d/l's.
if this is speaking out of turn please let me know.

I was on 5.0.5.7 running fine , downloaded 5.0.6.1 was also not having any issues. Decided to try a theme, and downloaded hexfusion , which was for 5.0.5.7 . I didn't think there was that much of a version change so thought I would try it , but I noticed after a bit that my phone wasn't receiving calls . I tried to *22899 to update the towers, but the call wouldn't go through. No biggie.. just reinstall backup, but no matter what back up I install even the orignal after installing CM the phone doesn't call out.

I have battery pulled, wiped data, cache, boot, system etc.. and still no luck ? any other suggestions ?

Not sure what to say other than I did the exact same as you went from 5.0.5.7 to 5.0.6.1 and installed the same HexFusion after wiping partitions and my calls ect all work fine...

I did have a similar situation last week and it turns out Verzion was updating the towers in my area ( rumored LTE related ) and after about 4 hours service was back online and then I could finally program and register on the network.

Is anyone else noticing a lag with this version? Especially when coming out of sleep, or going between landscape and portrait view. I am running a custom kernel, 1 ghz and have redrum 4.1 theme installed on top. I love the rom, but hate the lag.

FYI to all: Well today is the first day that my phone rebooted itself. I'm really not sure the cause of this. I was taking it out of the holster in my car....it came out of the docking mode and simply rebooted. I tried to replicate it but I couldn't.

I had the same problem at first with clean-black, but a reboot fixed it.

Just wondering if anyone is noticing lower d/l speeds in 3G. I was after flashing 5061 and OC to 1G with P3Droid 1.0 LV kernal. I flashed back to 5057 with the same kernal and my d/l speeds doubled in 3G. I just flashed back to 5061 and will be doing some testing later on tonight.

Question -

I partitioned my SD card last night with ROM Manager, setting up the Apps2SD and Swap partitions. I've got the Apps2SD part down, but the Swap I had a few questions on.

What directory is being used for the partition, or is it just a swap file, like with DroidSwap?

Do I need to do anything to configure it? Do I need to point DroidSwap to that directory?

Lastly, is there a widget that will show you your Apps partition storage space or swap file usage that anyone knows of? (like mini info does).

I had my phone reboot today too. It wasnt in a dock though just took it out of my pocket. I was still running 5.0.5.7 though.

5.0.6.1 seems much faster and smoother than BD10. not sure why that is. I am loving it. I am hoping for a Nextheme and Epocrates fis as well. and i hopw Swype does a 2.1 fix soon.

swype works on 2.1 i am using it right now
