fully aware of that i am on .605 i know im new to this forum but i have been flashing roms for a while now and have been on the 4/03 version of cm9 ics. i had the one b4 but i tried to do the update by wipeing cache and doing the install but it just got stuck. so i just updated back to where i was and then flashed the latest version and i have been all set i love this rom its coming along nicely. still cant get BT to work clearly but soon im guessing.
Ok. If im understanding you correctly your on 4/3 now and had a problem trying to update to 4/3 from a previous buid by just wiping cache. The previous builds before 4/3 if i remember right were based off 4.0.3 and the 4/3 build is based off 4.0.4 and therefore required a data wipe before updating.
OK now I understand thanks that would b the issue b4..... so now that this build is on, the same platform all I need to do is boot into clockwork wipe cache install sdcard/update/zip right?

Yep now that all the updates will be based off 4.0.4 you should just need to wipe cache and install the update unless 13angel says otherwise. I just noticed a 4/16 update is available, im wondering what's new with this update i haven't seen a Changelog but i really haven't looked for it yet either.
Whenever I launch Opera browser, it will show the splash screen and then display a black screen and never load. It's not force closing, just hanging up on this black screen. I saw that there was an update to Opera that supposedly fixed this problem, but I'm still encountering it.
Also, the option to use a "swipe on status bar" for brightness changing doesn't seem to work - anyone else using this?
Yes that's true, unless it's officially posted some place by 13thangel it's up to folks if they want to try it but don't post if you have issues and always make a nandroid backup before trying the new build so it's easy to go back. There's a revised version of the 4/16 build that's out there now so it's obvious things are still getting worked out. Thx to 13thangel for all his hard work trying to perfect this great rom.
