First off, this is a great forum! I have the Motorola Droid. Love this phone. I live in Pittsburgh. I am a tile setter by trade. Into cars and ride motocross. I'm 42. Yeah yeah yeah, way too old for mx! The old body constantly reminds me of this. I was directed to this site by searching for a good case for the Droid. Already on my 3rd. 95% sure i'm gonna go for the carbon case. Love carbon fiber! Alrighty then.

Hello, my name is Jim and I have a droid.
I have only had it less than a week and LOVE it! I knew when I saw the first commercial I wanted one. When my contract came up, I still did the homework and compared it to the Blackberry. Came to the conclusion my first instinct was correct.
My first smart phone, I upgraded from a razor.

My favorite app so far is ShottGunn...especially when I have to deal with rush hour traffic. :cus:

i'm a traveling kid who rides freight trains across the country.

I'm interested in learning how to use my droid to download mass amounts of music on the go, utilize my google maps for making my own maps for dumpstering, awesome places to catch trains, hitchike and ways to meat other traveling kids or closet-geeks like myself

Hello All,

New to the Droid community. I attempted to hold out for the Nexus One for Verizon, but found myself unable to stay away any longer. I decided it was not too great of a cost to toy with the eris until the Nexus One or another similar model was released later on this year.

I've been out of the forum communities for a few years, but now my children are old enough to be interested in the ways technology works, so now I'm back to work. I enjoy using, writing and sharing information I find useful.

Another new guy

Hello all,
I have been lurking on this forum for a while now. I just picked up a Motorola Droid about two weeks ago, and am still in overwhelm. This forum has been plenty helpful though. Especially with respect to docking stations.
My goal for this week is to figure out how to customize the ring tones. Shouldn't be that difficult, but it seems a little more involved than my ENV2, that I traded up from.

New guy here! Got my Droid in December, and have been following the progress of this Forum for a while now.

Finally got up the nerve to root my Droid last week, and now I'm hooked! Tried a few roms, and am now running AdamZ's 4.5. Loving every minute of it!
