Hey people,

like the title states, a noob here. Just got my phone last week due to my LG finally taking a crap and needed to get a replacement as soon as I could. Got this phone seeing how I was due for an upgrade and the price was attractive. Anyway looking forward to learning my phone i'll get from the info here.

First let me say how grateful I am to be able to finally leave Sprint with their bull**** phones and lousy connection! Once I decided on the droid and verizon I raised the $400 deposit plus the droid money and fri nite I walked in and started what will be a great relationship with both verizon & motorola. Now the droid this smartphone is amazing I've never had anything this amazing! I've owned a palm pre as well as a samsung moment and those phones were nothing like the droid the way it runs the way it feels is tremendous I gotta run but I'm looking forward to being a part of droid forums

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site. A little about myself. I'm a gadget junkie from way back. I was a Nextel (now merged with Sprint) customer for years until Hurricane Katrina hit my home city of New Orleans. When my friends who were with Verizon were the only ones with cellular service I made the switch and have been with them ever since. I've gone through several phones with them including the blackberry storm. I've been lusting after an iphone for some time now but after switching to the Droid that lust has been quenched! It is the best phone I have owned so far.

I was on the wall between an iPhone and a Droid before reading this forum. After reading about all of the mods, I purchased a Droid over the weekend. The same day I installed DroidMod and the 3d app drawer (which I have since removed). Live Wallpapers rule! This is the most fun toy I have purchased in years!

Hi all. New Droid user here. Made the switch from Sprint to Verizon and it's my first Smartphone (that I've owned...used iPhone at work and own iTouch) and am excited to learn more about what my phone can do.

What's up everyone! New Droid user here. I used to be a long time Blackberry user with AT&T and recently made the switch to Verizon for the Droid. I must say I am very impressed so far. Any additional tips and tricks to make it even better would be much appreciated.

Hello: My name is Tom and I'm from the Philadelphia area. I just upgraded to a Droid from a Blackberry Pearl that I was not happy with and I am glad I did. The phone is amazing and does everything I need it to do and more and it does it quite simply. Having said that I have one issue I was wondering about. I've already accidently deleted a few emails because I hit the delete key when I was trying to scroll up. Why doesn't the software ask if I'm sure I want to delete? Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?

Hi all, Ive been on this forum many times since I bought my Droid in late Nov. If I had a question about my Droid, this is were I found the answer. I love the Droid!!! The first phone Ive ever had that I did not return. Definately cured my thoughts of switching to at&t for the Iphone. My son is a US Marine, got to come home for Christmas .It was the perfect gift for him since personal space is very limited. All the technology he needs is now on one little gadget. My reward is that I get regular vidoe updates from him... Semper Fi
