Another Newbie

First time smartphone user.. Thought I'd start at the top of the food chain.

Hey, I'm CaptJack (Mike), I made the move to a Moto Droid one week ago from an ENV Touch. The Droid is head over heals above anything else - Including the IPhone. All my Iphone friends are in Denial. Actually one went to canada and managed to find a Moto Droid that runs on the AT&T network. good for him.

James here. just switched to the droid from blackberry. It's gonna take some getting used too. Blackberrys are great but for whatever reason they don't like me. I went through 12 blackberrys in less than 2 years. Funny thing is I don't abuse my phones. So hopefully Droid "Does" work for me.

Just got my Droid delivered yesterday......

I was a Blackberry user before this (Curve, which was nice to Storm, which is possibly the worst phone ever made). So far, I am very glad I made the switch to the Droid- It ROCKS!

I found this forum while I was impatiently waiting for my phone to ship. Lots of good stuff here! I think I've found my new home Sorry Crackberry

Hopehik here, just ordered a new Motorola Droid yesterday online from verizon wireless so I know nothing about it yet but I'm sure I will use the forums frequently for assistance. I live in Maine, happily married with 2 kids of college age.

I've had my Droid for about 1 month now and I'm extremely happy with it. I came over from the Storm 1 which i hated. I was waiting for one of the phones with a snapdragon processor but gave up and got the Droid. I figured who needs snapdragon when I can oc to 1gz? So thats what I did and I'm not looking back.

What's up everybody? New to the forum, of course. I've had many smart phones, going all the way back to the Palm Treo 700wx. To a few HTC's and Blackberry models. None of them so far measure up to my Motorola Droid.

From Symbian to blackberry, and now finally to the promised droid land... I hope. I'm using a Telus Milestone on AT&T network, and am really looking forward to finding new ways to customize and enhance my Droid experience
