Hello, just signed up about five minutes ago. I've had the Droid for a few months now and admit I was quite pleasnatly surprised and impressed with it. It may not be the iphone killer but it's probably the closet we've seen yet. Besides, I don't see James Bond (Daniel Craig) using an iphuck on missions to save the world, nor does Ethan Hunt, Jason Bourne, or Jack Bauer. They all probably use some Sony Errikson/HTC/Motorola/Stark Industry hybrid Android 17.0 quantum phone. Justin Long does use an I phone though. So who are you going to be? A bunch of badass patriots, or Justin *****-iPhone Long. It's eany easy choice, if you ask me.

Good morning Droid Forum. I have a Moto Droid and am interested in learning more and getting the most out of my phone.

DDROIDJ here
New Droid owner, long time Verizon Customer. So far really like the phone, will love once I learn more of the great things this phone has to offer.

Hello everybody, owned my Droid for about 6 weeks now, and my wife got hers two weeks ago. After 29 days she made the switch, so long Eris. Using the phone more than I had ever thought I would have. Been reading all I can absorb here and am ready to customize with Droidmod. Well look forward to all the assistance available in the community.

Howdy

Hey yall. I am a new Droid A855 user after using the Palm Treo 700w since it came out. The learning curve isn't as bad as I thought... yet. Lots of cool stuff and I see a Whole Lot of potential for these devices and the OS. My tech level isn't all that high, but I am a Stationary Engineer and may come up with different ideas from the norm. Feel free to ask me any questions, because I sure plan to pick the brains of the other members. Thanks.

I, for one, welcome our new Droid overlords...

Just got my Droid on Friday, spent all weekend playing, tweaking and exploring and now have come to question how I lived without for all these years. Looking forward to digging into the forums in search of viable and valuable tips and tricks.

Hey! Hey! Hey!! I've had my Droid since the street date and I must say it's the best decision I've made in some time. Still haven't experienced all it has to offer, which is an outrage!! lol Been keeping my eyes on the forum in hopes of learning some tricks. Four of us managers at my job have the Droid now and I wouldn't be suprised if someone else picked one up.

New

Thanks for the welcome, I have been on every single network out there until I hit Verizon. I am staying for good. I had Blackberry's with almost every network, I loved them. Same thing when I came to Verizon. When the Motorola Droid came out I had seen commercials for it on T.V., I had to go and test it out. I fell in love. I never knew that a "phone" could do such great things. I waited a little after it came out to make sure that the bugs were worked out (I have bought phones too soon after release before and never again). When I got my Droid home, I started playing with it right away. It has been about two weeks now and I am still in aw. I read this forum every day and decided it was a good time for me to make an account.

I've had my Droid for about two weeks now and love it, it's my first smart phone. Looking back now I don't know how I got by without one for so long, I've found alot of helpful info on this forum so far.

Hello All!

I thought my Blackberry Curve 8330 was fantastic. Then I upgraded to the Motorola Droid at the end of February, and like many of you here, I can't believe I lived without it! I can't get enough of it! I want to learn as much as I can about the phone, looking forward to learning all about the features I haven't discovered yet!

My decision to finally get the Droid, is when my neighbor and his wife got rid of their iPhones for the Droid, and they couldn't stop raving about them. That is quite a statement I thought, and since I'm not leaving the Verizon network, decided to dive in! My only regret is I didn't get this when it first came out!!
