Hello I just recently got a Motorola Droid was very excited about it but, I can't figure things out. I need a manual or something. The Tech at the Verizon store was showing me all kinds of stuff that it does seemed pretty awesome. But Im having a little trouble. Hopefully here I can learn a few tricks. I had a blackberry storm before this phone.

Hi All

:droideris:I bought my Eris last November and I love it. My favorite apps are Shopsavvy, Advanced Task Killer (saves the battery), DC Metro Info, Live Scores, Stocks, Traffic USA, and Voice Search (it doesn't always work, but it is really fun to see what it comes up with).

I had the Verizon techs load my emails onto my Eris and it works great. I have Verizon email on my computer and instead of going to the web and connectiong every time to Verizon my emails just pop up on my phone.

I am waiting for the turn-by-turn GPS info for the Eris. I was told it would be available in Feb, but I have not seen it. Does anyone know when it will be available?

Hi all, My Moto-Droid should arrive early this week. I thought it best to join a forum, and learn a little about the droid before it arrives. I see people carrying them at work and always fiddling with them. As a 25 yr computer/network tech, fiddlin with hardware generally means "learning how to use it". Fiddlin seems pretty intense, and that's what brings me here. Looking forward to having a computer in my pocket. I learn quickly, and hope to be helpful around here as I learn how to use my own device.
