Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

Installed some bogus optimizer app, won't name it publicly. Found out the playstore version is for GB. My phone started geeking before the install was finished, force closed blur, etc

HoBing to 905 and reinstalling 232 tonight. HoB is so easy, easy to see how a n00b could become emboldened and screw up their stuff if they're into that literacy optional sh*t.

I still encourage people to look and see what it's doing under the covers. Yes, it's easy. Yes it's convenient. And it sure helps you when you get into a bind. But, know what's happening is invaluable information in case the HoB doesn't work quite as expected. Being able to adjust as needed by knowing what it's doing, supposed to be doing, or not doing right is invaluable.

It's as convenient as catching a fish stick. And remember I'm a not newb like that clown yesterday
:-P

(A not newb that has cmd line fastboot HoB and RSD HoB)

awesome work, thanks so much for this!
Still on 232, thinking about going to 238, but want to keep my options open for going back to gb for band unlocking and using on t-mo or at&t. nice to have this utility to make it easy if i do decide to lock the device to vzw.

I know you're not a noob. My comment was meant for everyone using the HoB. I'd prefer people knew how it worked. :) That's all.

I don't recommend most people go to 238. I'm appreciative that you at least know the risks. 238 is not going to be the final OTA build, however, so, I advise people to wait before going past 232. At least for now.

Pretty happy with 232; only reason i'm contemplating 238 is due to the speculation that it will be the last rootable build, as well as hoping for better battery life.

It MIGHT be the last rootable build. It was only speculation that I mentioned to a few people and now people are running around saying the next build will be unrootable. But let me give you a better solution than upgrading to 238. When the OTA comes, go bacl to 905 from 232, root, and use OTA Rootkeeper to preserve root through the the OTA update.

Sam, there is a thread started called "If you're on ICS". There is a bug in the leaked script according to droidrazr.com. Any thoughts?

You're not hard bricked. *BUT*....you must do what I say carefully if you wanna fix it. Deal? :) First, is 235 on your sdcard-ext? You MUST have that update on the sdcard-ext for this to work. If not pull the sdcard, put it in a card reader/other phone/whatever, and copy the 235 update zip to it. This is REQUIRED that it be there to fix this. Once that is done.....

1) Use the RESINTALL 235 option
2) Make sure the phone is in AP Fastboot with a charged battery
3) Start with option 3 on the REINSTALL menu. It will flash a bunch of stuff....a sort of mini-fxz that i created for 235 and 238 users cause we're clearly reckless. :D
4) Once that flash finishes, do not touch the phone, and go to option 4. It will tell you to power off, boot up in recovery, and flash the 235 update. Wipe the cache, reboot the phone, root as needed.

Bob's your uncle. Good luck!!

checked it out, it doesn't upset me that much, bugtracking part and parcel of development. The only thing I would be interested in is if we could edit the destination the way you can repoint the TFTP for the config on a toshiba (on Cox) cable modem to a local directory and remove your throttle (don't try that, you're speed will be insane, they WILL notice it)
