Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

I tried running with 3 different downloads, and each time it failed on a different file....9/20, 3/20, 10/20....

Yeah its a bad download u need a better internet connection as u can tell its all over the place an it succeeds in places that it later fails in

Ok, I got it to work....First off my internet connection is a fast/clean fiber optic network...I had downloaded RSD Lite 5.6 and that wouldn't work. I Downloaded the SAmuriHL_HouseOfBionic_Components from this thread and it included RSD Lite 5.7. I ran that with one of the downloads I had from your thread sargentmajord and woo hoo.....it worked......could RSD Lite have been the issue? was it persistence????? I am booted and starting over.....hopefully all is good....and I will be back on the path for the official OTA ICS

If u fxzed back to 905 then yes ur back on the OTA path

I had 5.6 installed and used it until the fist time I actually used the 5.x HoB, last Saturday, and every time I've used it to go back to 902/905 it was fine. The last time was probably before I installed 232 around July 1 or whenever it was.

For the average user what is the benefit of rooting. I had rooted my Original Droid to get wireless WIFI, but I can get that with FOXFI. What other benefits other than installing ROMS do you get with Root?
