Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

I just thought of another idea and gave another file for the guys to host. :D A lite version of the zip file. Basically if they mirror it and you get the lite version, you extract it directly into a full 902 FXZ directory and it'll set everything up for you. That way those that already have 902 FXZ can just drop these files in place and they're good to go. Yes, I'm an idiot for not thinking of it earlier. :D

Questions

I have a stock Bionic running .905 from the OTA update. Rooted it today to create a Nandroid backup, and have copied the backup off the phone.

If I follow these steps, will my installed Apps (and their settings), along with my SMS messages/history, and Call Log be preserved after the upgrade to ICS?
If I'm running stock .905 (other than root), is there a shortcut version of the install that'll avoid the steps to revert to .902 then re-apply the .905 update (i.e., do I have to download the whole thing for parts I suspect I don't need to revert?)

If my apps won't make the transition from .905 to ICS with this script, is there a best practice/easy way to re-install them?

If something goes wrong, I assume the recovery process is to get RDSLite and go back to the 902 FXZ, then OTA update to 905 again, then try and restore my Nandroid backup?

Thanks for the info.

You don't need the script. Just put the 230 update on your sdcard-ext, boot into stock recovery, and flash it. Wipe the cache before you reboot, and you're done.

Sorry for the stupid question, but how do I really get to download the v2 file using the hash codes? never done it before.

No, the hash codes are to verify the file once you've downloaded it. You need to get the torrent file posted (it's attached on the first post of the thread) and use that for now. Unzip the torrent file and use something like utorrent to grab it. There's a lite version coming for those that have the full 902 FXZ aleady, but, that'll be a while before it gets posted.

I will be leaving soon for the weekend, so, good luck everyone and again sorry for all the problems in getting things right. V2 will be a lot better for everyone.

...I think so!!

LOL. Well I highly recommend to everyone that they grab either the full v2 of my zip or wait for the lite version to be posted later. The first version was a freaking disaster and definitely should not be used. Once you have either of the v2 zips you should be good to go.

Here is the torrent for lite version. It may take a few minutes to be seen, but I am seeding. ADrive link coming up in about a half hour...
