Droid 1/2 Extended Battery

I didnt charge my battery at all when I went to bed last night. It was at about 90%. Woke up like 10 hours later, and it was down to 80%. It's been about 7 hours since, played with my phone a moderate amount of time, and now it's at 50%.

Loving the performance.

So, you are rooted and running UD 7 or something like that?

Yep. I will say though it seems like the drop from 100& to 90% seems to go pretty fast regardless of how much I'm using the phone after charging it. But after that it seems to last a good amount.

Since my last post its now at 30%, but I've also had it sitting trying to install a game a good chunk of that time, so it'd probably be at 40% otherwise.

Those of you having battery problems or NOT seeing an improvement either got a rip off battery or are having some SERIOUS phone issues!

Im literally seeing 3-4x the amount of phone life off this extended batt.

I just got back from the Verizon store and picked mine up and it's charging now before I head off to work....I have high hopes for this thing.

make sure the battery is fully charged and go into clockwork recovery and clear the battery cache.

I get a solid 2 days from a std battery

to everyone using this, how are you monitoring battery percentage? It my understanding that the regular battery icon doesnt read extended batteries properly, so which widget are you using?

Clockwork recovery? What am dat?

I was right after refreshing my hour meter, I have 70% after 10.5 hours. whew sorry for posting the wrong numbers. I'm sorry but 3x-4x from a battery that's 30% bigger in not possible. I do believe that this battery is well worth the value and defently deliveres.

Read the thread from the beginning....

That isn't an issue apparently with this particular extended battery. (Probably because it's a Motorola product designed to work with a Motorola product?)

People have been experiencing accurate readings from any and all battery tracking widgets/apps including the stock Android battery icon with this extended battery.

So, today I'm finally seeing an improvement in my battery life... I guess some of them just take a while to perform properly. It's like I had to bad mouth the battery before it would perform for me. I don't think any of us have a "rip off" battery at least if we purchased them from Verizon. I do still hope it improves more, but it's been 11 hours now and I still have "40% Battery Level." When I check the battery level in Settings, about phone, Status. I've been using it like any normal day at work, 20 min on Google Maps GPS, 50 minutes listening to music, 1 hour of phone calls. By this time on my stock battery it would be dead or very nearly dead.

We'll see how much I can get out of 40%

UPDATE: I got about 15.5 hours and got the message to plug the phone in. It lasted longer than that with me falling asleep on the couch, but had to plug it in before going to bed so my alarm would go off in the morning. Probably got 16 hours before I plugged it in.
