does it have a spare battery slot?
Circus Monkey, The dock fastpat is talking about is most likely the one you just tried. I have posted pictures of mine just a bit ago and you can see that it barely fits.
I just posted that the Motorola Multimedia Dock XT works perfectly with the extended battery.

Worked great at first but now idk. It doesnt take a lot of juice when its idle right? I charged it full, did tha wipe of battery stats, went to bed and have been using it like normal today. About 10% an hour

How does everyone like the multimedia dock? When I was getting all my accessories, I thought about getting it but decided against it since I didn't think I would get much use out of it. Verizon gave me a 42% bulk discount on what I got but still opted out of getting it.
They also gave me 47% off on the 32gb card. That's why I got that...where else would you get such a deal?

What's Lithium Mod & Slayher's 1ghz kernel?
Lithium Mod is a custom ROM made by Jrummy and some others and Slayher's 1 ghz kernel is a custom kernel. These can only be put on your Droid if you are rooted.

I thought that your phone gets bricked if you root it on the Droid X. Do you have another model?
It's for the Original Droid not the Droid X. This extended battery thread is about the Droid 1/2 extended battery, not the Droid X.

i'm sorry I haven't seen a comparison between the seido and this motorola extended battery so I was curious which one is better. I am going to buy a extended battery this week when I get paid and wanted to get the best one out there.

VWdroid: I would think the biggest selling point for the motorola extended battery is the minimal thickness added to the droid, the seido looks absolutely huge in any picture I have seen
Also it's a big plus that the moto extended battery is reporting the correct amount of %. Unlike using the seido, you have to use a 3rd party program and maintain full charge / discharge cycles to have a accurate battery %.
You will prob get another 25% life out of the seido to make up for the above drawbacks.
I am anxiously awaiting the return of the 30% off discount off of verizon's online store, the day I made my mind up to purchase the extended battery for my driod 1 is the day that it was no longer valid.
