Droid Bionic? Maybe not...

You may be forgetting we on this forum only represent maybe 1% of the Motorola's sales.

If there's people here who had to return 3-4, then by reason alone we have to assume there's thousands that had to return at least 1.

Again, this isn't attacking Motorola, it's just the truth. I wouldn't be on this forum if I didn't love Droids.

I had 3 Droid 2 replacements, and 6 HTC Incredible replacements. Along with 5 iPhone 3GS replacements.

It's not just Moto, all phones have problems.

I never said it was only Motorola. This thread was about Motorola always waiting until they perfect a device before releasing it. My experience has been different is all.

So far my Droid 3 has been the only MOTO phone I have had that seems as close to perfect as possible...

Hopefully they redeem themselves for me when the Bionic is released. Despite the waiting, I've been really impressed with the most recent pictures. I'm hoping it's thinner than my OG. It should be anyways because I won't be using a case on the Bionic like I have for the D1.

Might be close with that 4G radio.

I think you're most likely right, but since I won't be using a case, it should "feel" thinner, given the sleeker feel.

As the bionic saga has dragged on, I have been leaning more and more towards waiting for the gs2 before I make my decision. Then today I came across this xda thread about the best pictures you've taken with your gs2, and I must say that I am shocked at the difference between those and the x2 whose pictures just look digital and artificial. The cameras/videos are not even in the same league. Now I can say with almost certainty, that if the hardware hasn't been upgraded from the x2, I will get the gs2 whether or not it's 4g.

Best photo you've taken on the GS2 - xda-developers

I m slowly starting to feel this way too unfortunately.....and especially if they keep original form factor.

Been reading quite a bit about the GS2 since it's been mentioned here. Apparently it has one amazing camera as well. Seems like it surpasses the Bionic as long as we see it with 4g LTE.

I think that depends on what a buyer is looking for most. My area is covered fully by 4G, but, I don't actually use the internet on my phone enough to necessarily need 4g, it's more of a convenience than a necessity.

Now a vibrant and non-pixelated screen and a camera that takes incredible photos, I'm very interested in.

Motorola has to see this perfect storm coming, 2 phones with very appealing features. Maybe there is a reason for these delays?

The more I Google and youtube the gs2, the more impressed I am. I thought 4g was going to be enough to plunk my cash down on an unproven oft-delayed phone, but now I am starting to understand why many people say this is the best phone in the world.

Yea, for all we know, they could be giving it even better specs.
