Droid Bionic on 9/1/11?

I have never heard of a phone that was actually announced and had a demo unit made and shown going through 9 months of delays. By September, the phone will be getting near it's 1 year birthday lol

The reason is this is the second design Bionic. We have actually had to wait through the development of two phones.

I know it's whole history, I have been following it very closely since I first saw it. Anyone can disagree, but for me personally, if it takes much longer, I am just stating that I will just wait till the holidays for the new batch of phones. I have been waiting 7 months so far, and if it's September that it comes out then it will be 9 months. I have no problem waiting another 2-3 months for a newer phone, that's all I am saying. I realize many of you will buy it no matter when it comes out and that's fine. I personally won't if it's September and will wait for another phone, that's just my decision. To each his own

It's been hard, visiting the store with each new release then walking out my hand in My pocket gently clutching my old friend droid.
I wonder if Bionic can possibly live up to the hype?

I have been waiting and will continue to wait. My original Droid 1 still does the trick and gives me hope for the Bionic. I won't down grade to what is on the market now.

Another think I think we've all forgotten. The FCC confidentiality agreement expires August 7th. Why the 7th? I'm sure we're going to get more info soon. Why else would it expire in early August and then make us wait until September?

I would say that if the confidentiality agreement ends in the midst of a marketing campaign that has begun, then no harm, no foul. If the billboard in the thread in News here is the first of this campaign, then it has begun. And we know that the first step is "what the heck is that, and exactly what does it do? I need to find out?" Gotta get the internet chatter by folks who do not hang out at places like this ginned up.

Eh I don't think they'll let it expire during the advertising campaign. I think it will be released before then.

i had a storm one and loved it when he gets a bionic he will love it more than any of us d1 users
