Droid Price Cuts

Wirefly.com $99 at the time of this posting. still has the bing.com cash back of $50, making your final cost $49 with a new contract. If you know bing, that is the way to go. If you don't know bing, he should be your new shopping buddy. I mean after all bing.com is microsoft's search engine, they pay you $50 for buying a Google/Motorola/Verizon phone. I laugh at the microsoft part paying you to buy a Google powered product, whats next Apple paying you another $50 to by it as well...lol.

My $50 from the previous wirefly.com and bing deal is due in my paypal account in 14 days, woot, the deal at that time was $119 minus the $50 making out to be $69 for a final price.

Wirefly and overstock and Sears and Best Buy online and a bunch of other places use the same wireless phone reseller so you are good to go with any of them, as long as you are happy with the price, I would be happy with $49 for a droid.

Just search HERE and click on the Bing Cashback link.
You'll get $99.99 plus $50 from Microsoft.

Overstock is HERE but with no Bing cashback.

Wirefly page says sale ends Sunday. It's probably the same for Overstock since they are run by the same company.

overstock.com!!!!!!

hmmm, maybe i can get my best buy to price match

Best Buy won't do a price match with an online retailer. I know this because my dad works for them. haha.

overstock.com!!!!!!

I just checked overstock.com and found it there for $674.99..........where do you get it for $99.99

You searched phone without plan, which is why its 679.99. I purchased the phone with a new two year contract... if you upgrade your phone it's still a nice 99.99. Not too shabby?

Online family plan upgrade with Firefly

I am looking to pull the trigger on a Droid with Firefly. I want to do a contract extension on one line of a family plan. Their CSR said that I would have to do this over the phone, as there is no way I could extend one line of a family plan on the web. The problem is that I cannot get Bing cash back if I order on the phone. The CSR said that it actually WAS possible to order on the web, but that I, as a mere customer, would not know the secrets of doing it. Sounds a bit fishy to me.

Anybody successfully order a Droid while only renewing a single line of a family plan online with Firefly? I sure would love to hear the "secret"!

Apparently until 2/28/2010 there is a Verizon Wireless VIP Program if you have a plan that is $79.99 or higher. This will get you an additional $50.00, so combine that with NE2 you could get the phone for $99.99.

that VIP discount is in effect all the time.

Back in december i used my NE2 upgrade and my VIP customer discount.

went to the verizon store:
phone: $300
NE2: -100
VIP: -$50
MIR: -$100

phone only cost me $50 after mail in rebate..

From my understanding on another forum and the fine print of my link that Verizon is ending the VIP Program forever after 2/28/2010.
