[APPS] Droid X/2 Overclock App - Easy & Noob friendly ;)

hey im running liberty 1.5 and setpc only will run up to 1ghz so took that off as well untill i can find out whats wrong with overclock so can be back to 1.25

Okay...

Simple question, and forgive it being a n00b one...

How come Android devices, like the G2, overclock to 15GHz and score Linpacks in the 50 ranges and quadrants of 20,000+ and the Droid X I cannot overclock beyond 13.5 GHz, without crashing and score Linpacks of 18 and Quadrants of 17000+?

Isn't the Droid X's processor faster than the G2, stock?

Also, when I use Set CPU, it will not allow me to over clock beyond the 1000 GHz. That's already the stock performance.

Any ideas?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling. I this issue too on my D2 but it somehow went away after uninstalling a couple of times.

I have tried. Many times. Even used multiple ROMs. Always same issue.

Because every cpu made for droid phones is different.... i can oc my d2g to 1.2ghz with no problems using setcpu. About to start playing around with higher though.

Edit: Started playing with diff frequencies/voltages...... found out mine works comfortably at up to 1.35ghz ulv.

Wow! Talk about disappointing. Just got my x yesterday got it all rooted and go to overclock and wouldn't yoy know it 1.15 the highest I can get stable. I tried every freq voltage combo and every one just stops my phone in its tracks, no boot loops though.
Im coming from a rooted d1 running 1.2 mhz stable and I bought this x from a friend for $100 (sold out to the Icrap) to hold me over for a bionic
So any suggestions
