yes downloaded through the toolbox. and yes trying to run it. and it does go to that folder. and went to th bottom with no folder. either way. what do your think

Try moving that file to the root of the sd. Not sure if it will help. If that's a no go try downloading again from the thread. Something could have been wrong with the file (i know mine was ~111mb zipped). Also I think liberty mounts the system in cw anyway but to be safe go to mounts / storage in cw and mount system manually (once you get the file) It won't hurt.

Worked. Thank you. I'm so donating to these guys. Things like this would not be possible for guys like me if not for these great forums, and the people in it.

please help was in leaked gb rotted rom. sfb back to original. rerooted. installed clockworks. then the tool box. loaded liberty 2.0. booted into recovery. wiped data factory reset. tried to install from sd. and says no such files exist. i looked i know its there. along with the rooted gb thats on the sd card. but says none such exist what is going on.

I know you fixed this but for future reference, it sounds like your choosing the option to flash update.zip. Instead, chose the option "flash zip from sd" as it will give you the ability to browse through the sd card to the folder where the rom is. I personally keep a copy of the rom,the d2g romer and the epic blue theme on my sd card at all times. If I want to flash them I have to choose "flash zip from sd card" so I can browse to /dropbox/roms where the zips are stored.

I do agree. That is the BEST part of this forum is how everyone is willing to help each other no questions asked.

Ok just liberated my DROID2 and Liberty is running smooth as Black-Ops. Nothing but love for the system, However where the hell is my Wi-Fi hotspot? is there a way to retrieve that through the toolbox???

It should be in your app drawer (at least it was for me), not that I can afford to use it. Try a reboot or flash a fresh copy of liberty without a wipe

Missing Wi-Fi Hotspot

Reboot didnt' friggin fix the problem of the missing hotspot. I see now that my DLNA is also missing. I'll try a reflash later. I gotta get back on some android dev training. BTW wi-fi hotspot is free on rooted phones. I still love the Liberty rom though. Guess its just back to the drawing board.

Do you mean wifi hotspot or wireless tether cause the latter is free while the former costs an outrageous sum of loot

From my Liberated DROID2 at 1.25ghz

3g Wi-Fi Hotspot costs an additional $30.00 per month on verizon however once you root your phone you can get it for free. google it. truth. at any rate i still find it odd that mine disappeared after i intalled Liberty.

If you go into the toolbox under rom manager, select all. Scroll down and install the mynet under addons. Hotspot is back. I don't think he included the dlna app though

Ok i went into toolbox > rom manager > select all > addons but there is no where to scroll down after that. the screen shows the addons selected but my only options after that are download ROM Nightlies Install from SD Install Bootstrap. What am i missing? Thanks in advance too.

Last I heard they didn't include dlna because it would require massive rewriting of code to get it working and inclusion of some blur framework that was removed to make the rom faster.
