[DROID2] Liberty ROM - v 2.0

Thanks grey, all good. As long as I have my wi-fi hotspot i'm in liberation heaven, mayne. This is really a solid rom, and fun as hell too not to mention functional lol.
 
Yeah, i'm loving liberty. Its been about a month now on this rom and it has been very stable for me. Dlna is not included. About the hotspot hack, i heard it was a bad idea anyway.

I can live without DLNA and yes Liberty is one powerful, kick-ass & take names, take no prisoner Rom. BUt why would the Wi-Fi hack be a bad idea? It's all about liberty right?

Yeah it was something about verizon monitoring the hacked hotspot users. I very rarely use wifi tether for this reason (only if necessary).

Alas, as rooters, open-sourcers & outside-the-box thinkers, we're all being "watched" anyway. lol. Big Brother is always watching, comradre.

I know that. I was wifi tethering all the time for a while, but there was a thread a week back that talked about having companies like verizon taking our little community seriously and that by stealing wifi without paying (even though I don't agree with having to pay if already on an unlimited data plan), wouldn't help the stigma that already exists regarding us as a community. I don't know, it just made me reconsider, but it's not for me to judge anyone else's choices. So, tether on!

ok, I was wondering is there any way to get the wallpapers from 1.5 over to 2.0? Theyres less in 2.0 and there were a few that I liked in 1.5 that I used.
 
Is there an issue with the phone being stuck in 1x? I would rarely go into 1x with fission, but it would never go to 3g with liberty. I did a full wipe and reactivate, still had the same problems.
 
Maybe I didn't check those MM filenames well enough... or are you running at 1x speeds? No issue with it on mine, and haven't heard of it before.

Ive seen it flash 3g, but only for a second or 2, then back to 1x. This was on a clean install, I didnt even put your theme on it yet.
 
Weird... if its just today they may be doing some work in your area? You on D2 or D2G?

I think Stensonstaw is right, probably some network stuff going on today where your at. No problems with 3G here and never heard of any one going in to 1x because of liberty. I wasnt even sure 1x was maintained still. Did you update your roaming capabilities? *228 options 2.
