Any guess on how BD's departure will affect the reception your new rom receives?

I don't know, or care. I'm not expecting more, or less of a reception. A lot of the folks trying it now were previous fans of my work in windows mobile.

So, its not affected by this one way or another.

Wow that shows how little I know. I would have thought you would be ecstatic that BD is leaving given the huge following he had here. I think you mentioned earlier that the void left by BD would be filled. Oh well, silly me.

I believe that UD is the best rom…hands down.I’ve ran Petes, DroidMod, Chevy’s, Cyanogen (for 5 minutes) and stopped when I flashed UD. It is the most stable and pleasing rom that I have ran..And to top it off, the support was OUTSTANDING in his section of DroidForums!!! Any problem I had, 10 people would step up and be more than willing to get me back on track. I will continue to run UD and follow the crew where ever they go.

BD spends alot of time working on his ROMs and deals with many files..And as he said.."files can get mixed up from time to time"..Were all human. We make mistakes. People need to relax and not get all in a uproar. Everybody shares aspects of their rom. And for a war to break out because a thank you was missed in a ROM posting...obserd...People need to grow up and quit pointing fingers. If all the effort that went into flaming and pointing fingers went into a ROM..Think how amazing it would be.

........isnt cyan like the dell or gateway of roms?.....i mean its a great rom dont get me wrong but its proprietary...gotta use its kernels....tried to flash with jakes kernel and it freaked out.....weird huh.....bd flash any kernel and it just gets better...aint that strange?
thought id ask .....anyone got any answers to this?
ohhhhh wait the one that would answer that was banned from here guess ill wait for a week to get a responce now.....dang!

thats kinda what i thought also.....only ones to ever quik respond was bd beta team members.....and they would help on any rom ....i really dont care...i try em all....i got my favs and i got the ones that blow....we all do...
just sucks that they hadda throw a fit....and now the answer people are not here.....wait a min.....7 no 6 no 5 ......ummm maybe 3.....four rows of icons 5 rows......they all really look the same....and if it doesnt look like the rom you are use to?......my money is on the bet that you can make it look just like the last one....same boot ani....screens and all the apps!!!!

Pepsi...I also found pretty fast responses from Adrynalyne and Chevy...they're on the ball as well...at least for me they've been awesome.

First of all, I never said he should have been kicked out. I said he lied, and made things worse when he could have resolved things.

Second of all, this has nothing to do with my rom, it has to do with ehtics, or lack thereof between two different developers. Not me.

The overwhelming minority wins here!!!! BlackDroid will be sorely missed. He did have the best hands on service, with the best stability, so whatever he was doing to the ROMs he put out they were hands down the most stable. I have tried them all and the UD ROMs were fast, reliable and had the best user friendly team. This is a huge injustice. BD was not let go because he ripped something off, that is just absurd, he was booted because of the egomaniac that claims he was not given the proper dues. What a joke!! Get over it!! I have, goodbye DroidForums......
