If you notice, the ones that have no problem stealing code are all BD's fans. He has quite the power of convincing people, including his "developers," that he did not steal and he made it all himself.
Its not worth fighting with them, soon BD will be gone and they shall follow to ruin another forum.

BD didnt' steal anything...it was an accident, I, i mean he, left an stupid .xml file....too many windows opened on my screen......cut copy....no no...build...spreadsheet does not exist...I built it all...
I run v9.8 genius, tell me where it is stolen from. It runs better than ANY other ROM I have loaded. So tell me genius,

Is it just coincidental or did anyone else notice this whole episode exploded when BD removed his ROM from ROM Manager. Based on the number of downloads (and the fact that ROM Manager put money in Kouch's pocket) I'll bet that gave him some heartburn.
The fact that BD made Kouch's ROM better is a side point.
The fact that BD's ROM was better is the main point.
After all, isn't it all about money ???

ok so this BLACKDROID guy is a poor, hungry, desperate man with apparent low moral values. You want to trust this guy to build the ROM you use, where you input your Google account information, countless passwords, and maybe even bank credentials?

why is everyone always looking to get angry at something. its not like any is you made the Rom and if you don't use it then why do we need to know why? I don't think any of is are that important to be speaking out like it was our own real family getting attacked. I just want to enjoy my Rom that is way more entertaining than stock! shouldn't we let this die now? and move on....

Yep. If BD hadn't asked to have his rom removed, no way all of this would have happened. Isn't it ironic that Koush added the rom back and keep it there against BD's wishes. The very rom that they now have moral misgivings about! As long as the money was coming in, the rom was great.

SES doesn't mean he will steal things. that's like saying a rich guy won't try to scam you. whoever mods their phone takes the risk of that happening anyways.

I've had code stolen before not particularly in the android scene (people i work around are great!). Your opinion is your opinion i'm just trying to understand how someone considers stealing someone elses work is okay? That's all.

Someone has plans to build a doghouse. Someone has the same plans to build the same doghouse. The "plans" come from "open source" so anyone can use them. One person builds it plain and another adds heat/air conditioning. But both start from the same plan? (google source code)
What is the difference?
Taking someone else's idea (or work) is what is done every minute of the day in the world. Thats how development works and gets better.
