FoxKat's Razr/Maxx Jelly Bean Leak Classroom W/MattyP & Friends

Im still here following the thread.. wont jump into doing it until there is a definite answer on how to go about this... not that I doubt anyone posting but I really want at least two people to agree on a method before I jump into doing anything. By the way thanks for all your help, everyone.

Ok, very very smart to not jump into doing anything. I said to read read read but read carefully...which I didn't do. For some reason, I was mis-reading that you were on .214 but you are on .75... which is a very different story. I am double checking and double reading as we speak to make sure we put you in the right track (and right path).

I do believe gotfxn is correct...

Read this thread. It looks like you had to revert back to GB.181 in order to get the update to .211.

Thanks Tis! I read through the thread and it had said if you were on a leak .75, then to revert back to .181 in order to receive ICS .211. Hopefully we didn't scare/confused the OP..

And sakana as well...

I believe you want to fallow this one that GotnFX put up. The issues with what Tis suggested is you havent gotten the .211 update yet because your on a leaked version of ICS and not the official one. So you need to downgrade back to the .181 in order to goto the .211 and beyond. Once your on .181 you may get the .211 update automatically and then you can fallow what Tis suggested to root and get the .215 patch. If it doesn't auto update to .211 then you'll have to find the file to side load it.

But I would read through that whole thread on the 1.6 utility before doing anything.

Thanks you guys for noticing what I didn't and providing the necessary caution.

Edited, wrong file.

Hanielserrato..so it looks like two confirmations to use the thread above..one from sakana and Tis..lol Again, read through the thread and ask questions. We will help as best we can to get you to the right path towards .211.

Here are two threads I came across with references to the leaked 6.14.75.xt912.verizon.en.us update ...

http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...ficial-ics-update-while-maintaining-root.html ... post # 10 shows confirmation of success.

and...

www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-razr-hacks/212192-remove-ics-leak.html ... see post #4, uses the 1.6 utility

Click on that link, should start downloading. It is a big file so it takes awhile.

@Redsnk, that isnt what Hanielserrato needs he's on a leak version before .211.

Hanielserrato if none of the links Tis provided works, use this:

Razr_Utility_1.6.torrent - download now for free. File sharing. Software file sharing. Free file hosting. File upload. FileFactory.com

Scroll all the way down and there is a slow download which is free and a faster download, which I am assuming is the paid version.

My bad thanks for the correction, I will edit my post.

Latest information directly from Motorola's update page says Q1 2013 for the JB update.

https://forums.motorola.com/pages/00add97d6c

It is a bit different now. You have to select your region, then carrier purchased the phone through, then phone model.

Hi! - Thanks for the motorola update site. I just skipped over there and registered. For the first time in months, I have a happy feeling because I'm believing that we will finally see an official OTA! Ya think?
Tis, Red and all, pls let me know when you plan to revert to .211 - I've never done it before, so I'll be taking my lead from you! Whoopie! It's on the way!:biggrin:
