Awesome! Glad it all worked out! It is very intimidating trying to do something for the first time on your own, but there will always be someone here to help you out in one way or another. :) Have fun!

I am having trouble getting my computer to recognize my phone when in AP fast boot mode. When I first plugged it in, the computer said it failed on installing the drivers. I downloaded the latest drivers again from the Motorola link. When I plug in the phone in AP Fast boot mode the computer makes a sound as if it recognizes the device but it won't show up. When I run the utility to flash back to .211 it just sits there saying waiting on device. This is on won computer.

Any thoughts on what I can do? When the phone is turned on as regular, the computer will recognize it and read the files as normal.

Hi Tis-

Well, i guess tonight is as good a time as any to revert to 211. Hope u and the gang are around tonight in the event of a snafu!
Redsnk seems to be having a problem..... Red...is sit resolved yet?

To the folks who have or are in the process of reverting to .211 -
Which of these 2 options are u selecting:

  1. you can simply hit the X at the top right corner of the screen and close the Utility to AVOID WIPING THE INTERNAL MEMORY AND LOSING ALL YOUR INSTALLED APPS AND PERSONAL DATA,
  2. or you can hit any key and do the above - as long as you understand there is NO TURNING BACK, this will overwrite or erase all user-installed apps and data permanently, leaving you with essentially a completely stock phone!

Once you've done either of the two options above, the phone may reboot again, or you may need to reboot yourself (recommended). You will then power the phone back on and it will "Update Apps", and eventually boot into stock .211.

Got it going. I had to unplug my external hard drive and use one of the back side dedicated USB ports. I was first trying to use one of the crappy front side USB ports. Apparently need to use a dedicated one. The Utility is running right now.
