All I have to say is WOW...great work ALL AROUND! There is no better community than the Droid Community! I was hitting over 1500 with Quadrant...here is a screen grab from a bench I just ran:

Could I get your help setting this up then? Man that's just torching fast and I'd love to be able to get that kind of speed/performance out of my phone.

To pull a score like that just toss any 1Ghz or higher kernel on it and you should be golden. At 1.2Ghz on mine I almost top 1700 and I did once. Was 1703, averages 1660-1680 tho it seems.

If anyone has any good troubleshooting suggestions for us 2.2-phobes, happy to hear 'em.

Have you tried the UD ROM? It is running great for me, but I had no problems with the original MDW release either, if nothing works I would have concerns about the official release being compatable too, it might be time for a new Droid

Does anybody know how we save the apps to the SD card?

go into manage aplications and select an app and there will be a button that says move to sd card. so far the only apps I have that the move to sd ins'nt grayed out is root explorer and set cpu. I have moved rt explorer to sd card but when I reboot for some reason its gone in my app tray but icon is on my destop and app still works. I moved back to phone and uninstalled reinstalled and Im going to just keep it on phone.
Some people using adw have said their apps that have been moved to sd dissappear. I am using launcher pro

Ok, at the risk of sounding like a complete moron, I want to make sure I know what I'm doing.

I rooted and installed Bugless Beast using the "Complete how to mod you phone" guide.

So am I right that in order to install Froyo, I just download those two files, restart in recovery and run them in nandroid? Or do I just run one of them?

And is that all I need to do? I'm not a moron, I promise. Just paranoid of doing something wrong.

I was able to use the round battery just like in 2.1 but I did not use mm to install it. I pulled the framework and placed the png files in the framework then pushed it back. I also got some nextheme icons and changed the pulldown picture so it seem that you can edit the pngs just like 2.1 files.
Only reason I posted this because I saw someone asked about the round battery awhile back(sorry alot of pages)

WOW after reading through so many posts can anyone please advice as to a unable to install maps that I got after I flashed Froyo, update kernel, and the new baseband?

Is there a solution?

Thanks

Depends on how you are set up...are you stock or rooted? If you are already rooted just follow the first post's instruction (and wipe your data and cache VERY IMPORTANT) and you should be good to go. I also installed one one of the kernels that was posted as well, 1.2 GHz to be exact. I am at work now and can't be to specific but I'm still pulling breakneck bench's...kinda unreal in all honesty...

I want this benchmark thing. Where is it in the market?

well I got a few things fixed

I did figure out apps2sd, but of all the apps I have/use only titanium back allowed me to to move to sd.

I got my celtics pulldown to load but its not transparent on froyo its black :(
I hope there is a fix for this soon.

None of my battery meter symbols I have will work with this setup.

What if any themes are available for Froyo so far anything like smoked glass or something with black notification bar. I dont want to hide it although I know I can. also hoping I can get this pulldown to be fixed over a smoked theme since it was over that in my BB.

Bumped from pg 200:

Hey Guys.

I am a dumb Droid owner (as opposed to all of you programmer types). I have a rooted droid that I did to get Barnacle. All else is stock as I have no idea how to do any of this stuff.

Could someone walk me through the process like I'm a child? Or point me to those instructions?

Thanks much.

Hopefully someone here can help me out. I'm running this 2.2 build with the 1100mhz kernel on my droid. I'm trying to wifi tether, but I only see "tethering" under my wireless and network settings, nothing about "hotspot" etc. Under the tethering menu, I only see an option for USB. Has anyone had or know how to fix (if possible) this issue? Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.
