i'm getting an error when i try to flash the clockworkmod recovery. given that i don't have my sd card partitioned, so i kinda know why it's giving me this: "No apps2sd partition found. Skipping format of /sd-ext. E: Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2

sorry for double post, can anyone help me out with partitioning my sdcard for froyo? i googled and found a lot of tutorials, but i'd rather have someone here help me.

don't worry just ignore that

i'm going to wipe everything and re-flash everything again....going to try launcherpro like you guys are suggesting. i must have done something to get the froyo launcher to start bugging out like crazy

yeah guys to do it clean wipe system, data, and cache before installing the froyo nandroid, I had no issues at all, you need to let your apps restore, go into SetCPU and OC to 800 MHz and it is FAST

The method, as illustrated by Absolutely Android, merely requires you to type "about:debug" into the URL bar, select UAString (which allows you to change the user agent, or the identifying network protocol of your browser) and select "Desktop."

When i try this method it doesn't do anything? Does not bring up UASTRING or anything, it said something about JAVASCRIPT and to evaluate it

Well this kinda sucks I need a way to enable wifi or some sort of data connection. I live in a low service zone if ya know what I mean, and everything is taking forever to download!!! Me walking around the house with the phone held up in the air trying to find service......

i got worried, when i booted it seemed like the boot logo was taking forever, maybe it just takes a long time to boot up at first?

All new ROMs do that. Don't worry!

anyone know if u can take scripts (like jrummys or petes) and drop them into /system/xbin/ and they will work or cause problems?

What are some good flash sites to check out? I just tried Hulu, i did the debug thing but it still didn't work. Tried Youtube, it worked but was stuttery, sadly.

anyone else with titanium backup able to get it to work? i'm constantly getting Root access => Failed....

Open Titanium and press the "Problems?" button. It downloads busybox and makes Titanium work this Froyo build.

This will also allow you to experiment with themes since that requires busybox.

Can't wait for the wifi kernel, 3g is making my phone smoke lol. Great job again guys this is awesome! Cant wait to try higher clocked kernels.
