Have it up and running, so sweet. Can anyone tell me why I cant get my Swype keyboard to work? Thats my only complaint right now

okay i've been reading all the comments about problems with having root access...just wanna make sure i'm on the right page, i apologize, i got froyo running just fine, checked out the features, and now wanted to switch back to cyanmod using clockwork, well i can't even access clockwork recovery, my phone just sits at the M logo, and i tried uploading a backup, but sits at the M logo, but when i access root explorer, setcpu, rom manager, i do get asked to allow SU permission...any help would be great, thanks

Swype is working fine for me -- apk I'm using located at :

[mod edit]

Sorry, we have been told we're not to share links publicly to Swype, which is in a closed beta status. It's not that I just felt like deleting it, but we have been told in no uncertain terms about it.

I fixed tha Maps manual update problem. Simply went into /system/app and deleted the Maps.apk
Checked in /data/app to see if anything was in there regarding Maps and found nothing.
Back into the market to install Maps installed successfully.
This worked for me. YMMV

i used root explorer and when i select delete it says it cant because the system is read only. what do i do? i remember having this problem before but i cant remember what i did to fix it

Has anyone noticed in the Market if you click on your "Downloads" and if there's several programs that have updates available, it's a one click deal and they all update. Worked out great when I tried it out last night.

Question: I did a clear cache x3 then wiped data and installed froyo. Did my titanium backup not work because of the data wipe? Should I not wipe data to keep all of my apps through titanium backup? Thanks

Can someone please upload 2.2? I have the OC kernel but the site went down while downloading the main OS (froyo 2.2).

Jaison,

While donations aren't necessary i'm never one to look a gift horse in the mouth. I actually am just enjoying the many people eating crow for talking **** (Cereal KIller) you doubted me man.

I never doubted you : )

I said those pics you posted a while back was a very early build (which it was). It was 2 months old. So I said I had no interest in the pics and it was nothing news worthy.

I never said it was a fake or doubted you.

I thought we cleared that up?

We are on the same team here...so I thought.

Titanium won't work because BusyBox is not installed. In Titanium, hit "Problems?" Let it install BusyBox, and then restore your apps like you always used to!

So I need to REDOWNLOAD titanium completely? Because my phone is stock fresh now, no apps that I ever DLed are still there and it's just stock apps
