anyone have "incompatible" error when trying hulu? everything loaded...flash was definitely running....but when i tried to play a video it said incompatible

did yo u change your browser to desktop?

Yea i think Hulu caught on or something. But Flash does work. It doesnt work for at Yahoo Sports either.

so..I did the update.zip for the rooted stuff but phone says i need root access? do i just do the terminal thing like normal?

ya ok how do I get root access back? the terminal process from 2.1 doesn't work for 2.2, I was under the impression the update.zip would fix that?

You've got to download the Super User update.zip in the first post at the bottom.

ya have to uninstall it manually via either the adb shell or the shell on the phone then it will reinstall correctly

whats the command?

I deleted with Root Explorer then tried to reinstall and no dice..

How do I go into the nandroid back up and extract the .apk of maps to push it to my phone?

ok you need to delete the current instance of market you have on there
the command in either shells are:

su (press enter)
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system (press enter)
cd /system/app/ (press enter)
rm marketupdater.apk (enter again)
rm googleapps.apk (enter again)
now we need to remount as Read only after syncing
sync && mount -o remount,r -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system (press enter)
now as for the file in the backup im not sure if you can just pick and choose an apk to grab but you can try
i'll also upload them out of my copy

I did that, then I ran it in sprecovery, it said it finished successfully, I rebooted and when I went to use an app that needs root access it was like no wai, you need root

i wanna speed this up...when we gonna see a faster kernal....and so far its nice n stable n responsive...ima lil disappointed in the screen swiping i mean if launcherpro can swiping smooth why not 2.2 its still a bit jittery...launcher is great...also from the video the screens bounced kinda like iphones n the storms what happened to that?

give the phone sometime to get used to froyo, it's prb got a brain freeze Alot of us were jaggy at first but after about 20 minutes it's quicker than all heck.

search for overclock on the market and you'll see an app called milestone/droid overclock doesn't need any flashing to OC
