Browser does not have pinch zoom. Isn't it supposed to?

If you're on a mobile site, it won't zoom. If it's a regular web site, it should.

It was kinda funny I downloaded this test last night before I got the update and mine was exactly as the one in the you tube with 2.0 - after the update it when back and forth between a green screen and a red screen - constantly back and forth.

But seriously everything seems so fast and the scrolling is very fast I just cannot see a problem at all.

mine went green and red too but the dot was too laggy. maybe it takes time.

but can we really complain? weren't most of us demanding the update now? careful what you wish for, eh?

No one seems to know way to help with my issue but here it is again

i used the same file on my wifes phone and it updated in 3 min.

I had rooted my phone but have put it back to stock with RSD

Now what can i do? tried 5 different downloads and even have a known working file, i have factory reset the phone 3 times. offer any ideas you can think of but none the basic newbie ones, i have done them all i think

Is anyone else notice how slow much slower the GUI is when you have Live-Wallpaper on... it sucks! I went back to a static picture

Anyone have this issue also?

Mine is a little laggy with livewallpapers. Sometimes I can't tell how much of that is just some of the apps misbehaving. Generally, most UI interactions seem acceptable.

I like the update so far.. with one exception.. seems my games are very choppy now as though the frame rates have slowed significantly.. I have nesoid with a few roms loaded and under 2.0 they ran perfectly, now they are so choppy they are not even worth playing.. any one else having this issue and know of a fix?

Yes +1 Snesoid and Nesoid and pretty much any halfway intensive game will show a choppiness where there wasn't before, even though I am probably hypersensitive to it. When you guys were saying the framerate varied quite a bit from high to low that is how I would describe what choppiness is. Supposedly, emulators run poorly on all 2.1 builds because something in the firmware was reverted back to the way it was before 2.01 and that had issues with it as well. man...this sucks

p.s Twice already my stock livewallpaper crashed I don't have many apps at all and factory reset 2 days ago.

Help on multi touch

Does anyone else browser not have multi touch or is it just me? I just got the 2.1 update yesterday and i got live wallpapers, 3D gallery and multi touch maps, but multi touch in browser doesn't seem to work. Is there anyway to get it working or was it just a rumor of multi touch browser?

Can someone tell me what the three options were when you had the popup? I was asleep and just pressed the one on the right... And my firmware says 2.1 update1. Does that indicate more updates?

I don't know about another update but I think its suppose to say that and you get all the updates that 2.1 was suppose to get

Got the update this morning. Has anyone noticed that the overall picture quality of the screen has improve? Everything looks a lot more clearer and more strikingly vivid.

Feeling your pain mrhammy. Similar scenario but I was not rooted, at least I do not think I was. I installed the ESE53 image that floated around a couple of weeks ago. Now I cannot update to ES81. I get the same signature verification response as you have reported.

Can anyone help a couple of frustrated forum members? Thanks in advance.

I'm having troubles with the new gallery. It's constantly force closing, no matter what I do. And I'm not quite exactly sure where to find the Google Earth download.

Delete the icon from your home screen and re-add it. That will fix the problem. Many people have reported Google Earth disappearing from the market. Hopefully it will return soon.

The Problem I'm having is with com.cooliris.media causing the Gallery to force close. It works ok-ish if I use Astro.
