Ah, ok...yeah no signal at all when trying to log-in will be problematic.

I'm gonna go have a little "chat" with my VZW store this weekend about that signal issue. At the very least they can discount me a femtocell. Cause 250 bucks.....that'd just about cover my ETF at this point. And with AT&T having full signal on the tower a quarter mile from my house now..... HEHEHEHE, yea, I can be evil at times.

Hey, all you have to do is drive out of the valley every time you update. Small price to pay for the latest sapphire, I think.

It's even worse than that! All I really have to do is step outside and I get JUST enough signal to make it all work. :icon_evil: There's another tower maybe 2 or 3 miles away from us that VZW is on and I can pick that up, but, not while in the house. How frustrating is that?!

That's actually....kinda funny. I tend to go to my picnic table in the front yard so yea, my neighbors probably do think I'm insane. But I think they believed that anyway. A femtocell would solve all kinds of problems for me. I no longer have to worry about my wife and daughter's phones (they're on AT&T and get full signal now) so if I can get mine working full time I can drop the landline. That'd save me a ton of money.

my apps wont restore themselves like on other roms????? can anyone help I dont want to have to download each one over again... I tried titanium but they didnt show up in the market after i restored them...

well i just followed what you and pdroid said, and it seems to be ok so far. all his apps finished syncing properly, so thats better than it was last time. gonna start restoring stuff and playing with it to see if it quick-reboots.

Has anyone tried Swype in this version? It works if I touch type, but if I actually swype, it doesn't do anything. I see the trail on the screen, but no words appear. I didn't have any issues in .84

That happens sometimes - you have to install from scratch (e.g., the Swype installer).

Good. I'm not pleased that anyone else ran into my problem. I was hoping it was just me. At least you've worked through it.

titanium should work for him, they won't show up in the market right away, but if he waits a minute, they will show up...

Im coming from lith mod... I put both the rom and gap zip on root of sd. used clockwork ... installed rom first then the gap. only purchased apps are showing up in the market? Thanks for the help in advance

I also did a wipe data and catch after the rom install but not the gaps

yeah, i do the wipe first, then rom install. i wouldn't wipe between the rom install and the gapps install.
