HTC's dual-mode CDMA / GSM Android slider Coming to Verizon

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice phone...until you see the keyboard. IMHO, it looks like cheap plastic (thought the same about the Nexus One). But like you said, that's my own opinion. I like the phone until the kb is revealed
As I look at the pictures closer I have to admit it does look like it would not survive a drop or 2. I will have to see how it reviews and put my hands on it.

Droid Incredible is HTC.
Motorola isn't paying for the rights to use "Droid," Verizon is (hence the reason why you don't see "Droid" phones on any other carrier). Verizon doesn't apply the name "Droid" to all of their Android phones, only the ones they decide to (and I don't know what criteria they use because the Fascinate, a high-end phone, isn't getting it at this point). There have been two HTC Droid phones - the Eris and the Incredible and three Motorola Droid phones - Droid, Droid X, and Droid 2.
All of that is really possible now. I was reading somewhere about AMD 2..5Ghz dual core. Now if only Motorola would create a droid with all that

I think the phone looks good, even with the keyboard. The red part of the keyboard would take some getting use to, however, I would not rule out the phone because of it. If that were the reason not to chose the phone, many would not have accepted the D1.
I can not wait to hear what the official specs will be. Hopefully this will be the end of the year show stopper!!

droid pro has been confirmed to be a droid 2 world phone
